I guess my next question is What cruiseline is known as the 2nd best in the food category?

After 10 there will be a DJ, and you will have groups of people still out and about having fun. And sometimes if there was a comedian earlier in the night there would be an Adults Only show late night.  
Sometimes it might be kind of fun for you to join the morning line dance or aerobics class cause it’s all chicks and it is a lot of fun, and also there are classes in the pool and it’s just a good time.

If you had a late night prior you could order a room service breakfast which is complementary!

I think this 60% off the 2nd guest offer is screwing everything up - it’s way more expensive booking for 2 people, let alone the rate it says it costs for the fare for one person.  I keep waiting for the sale to end to see normal prices again, and just got an email that Celebrity has extended the “Greatest offer of the Year” again 👎

 We will be sailing the Celebrity Apex February 2022, and am coming to the message boards for any tips on breakfast.  When we went on the Edge in 2019 we went to the Oceanview Cafe, and also Eden cafe.

We are in Conceirge class

Any tips, or hidden gems for breakfast?  (Or a link if this has already been covered)

re: main dining each of the 4 restaurants had “Exclusives” 3 appetizers and 3 entrees/mains.

On Feb 24th cruise The Cosmopolitan did not have the Lobster, Crayfish, & Smoked Haddock Fish Cakes appetizer on their menu

If you visit Tuscan u should try the Asiago Cheese Flan appetizer, so good.  Had it twice.  It is not too heavy on dairy.

ok an hour later it is back on the beverage package menu 😊

I just signed into My Princess and went into Manage Cruise and am looking at the beverage packages -

Yesterday the Unlimited Soda and more was listed there

Today it’s gone 😭 and there is a 6 cans of soda package and there is a bottled water package... neither were listed yesterday 

This is my first Princess cruise... Is it common for there to be changing array of choices there?

Yes, I was surprised at this!  Celebrity’s recent Instagram feed seemed to have only advertising which follows a family with young children on their voyage on the Edge.  I thought it was very misleading.  Our cruise on Edge I saw maybe 6 kids, all under kindergarten age (why we like February).  I don’t know what March has been like.

 Yes, I’ve only been on two cruises in my life, both Celebrity.  I chose X for the non smoking ship.  After the Reflection 2 years ago I really wanted to cruise more.  The ship was peaceful, had no riff raff.  I’ve visited the Celebrity website regularly since then, and this is the first time I’ve seen Kids Sail Free, or even 50% 3rd and 4th.  I think it is due to large #s of Edge cancellations.

This time we cruised on the Edge, on the first sea day there were three young children in the Solarium pool.  With their two parents and one Grandma.  When another passenger kindly told them the no kids policy they did not leave.  Celebrity’s staff had to fix the issue.  The family showed up in Solarium again on next sea day, day 6, and left more quickly that time.

While our first cruise was booked (pre-2017), a promotion came up for 50% off the second guest.  They honored that price for us.  Are those the good old days?  😥

For kids, the best feature of Edge I believe is the Infinite Veranda.  The window is so high that there won’t be any accidents of kids going overboard.  Besides the kids club, IMO there is really not that much else for them to do.

I called them, and Triana Tapas & Flamenco has a flamenco show 6 days per week at 7:30.  (not Mondays).  The show is 1 hour.  They take reservations by phone.  

I called La Barrichina and no one answered, so that one it TBD...

I’d feel weird having to sleep on a bed that people have used to hang out on as a couch.  Sitting on, eating and watching TV on, cookie crumbs.  The couch would be a canvas or fabric material, and would the topper be kept clean from taking it on and off so often?  Would they would put cleanly washed sheets on every night?    The floor would be dirtier too on the side of the bed used as a couch

I’ve seen it reviewed under excursions on cruise critic site, for another cruise line (idk which one)

Anyone know a club/restaurant/bar to see Flamenco Dancers performing?

Curious if any past Edge cruisers have been to Silent Meditation?  The Celebrity beta App says it’s at 9am and 3pm in Eden and has an extra fee.  A few q’s:  Is it in Eden?  How much does it cost? Also do they provide cushions or anything?

All I wanna do is dance!  Funny kind of nostalgia and sentiment when you have a live band covering hits from over the years.  I’m really hoping Edge will come through with a live band... I’ve read some reviews that gave me the impression there’s techno music way too loud, sigh.  Hoping that by reading the Daily we’ll be able to go to the right places

I think I read this in threads about the Millenium Revolution - when they are adding more staterooms others are reducing numbers of guests in other staterooms.  (I think my comment’s probably a little off topic).  just a coincidence

Just guessing here - but maybe it provides a large enough space for everyone signed up on a roll call.  Also gives a way for Celebrity to have a little bit of presence on Cruise Critic - a website where a lot of people researching cruises or chatting online are

Celebrity has a new app (beta version so the schedule is very general), but for the last week in February i’m seeing a group called “Greenroom: Chic”, who are playing in The Club on Deck 4 - forward.  Times are Day 2, 4, 6, 7 at 8:00 p.m.

The description says “There’s nothing more chic than Jazz.  Slip into something stylish, sip something cold, and savor the sounds of of jazz served hot from our live musicians.”

So maybe if you can download the app you could look under Music and see if Greenroom Chic is on your cruise?
