there is also a sauna that is free, usually opposite the changing rooms . sexes separated. cheers.

we stayed in one of the cabins under the galley a few years ago. the only sound we noticed was at 11.00 p.m. when the galley clean up crew dragged some equipment around. otherwise it was quiet in the state room.

hi you all, we came of the Volendam yesterday May 10/ 2017. at the q and a the captain informed us that 50% of the cabins had the bathrooms rebuild upon the last dry dock. the rest of the cabins are planed to get the same treatment at the dry dock visit in November 2017 . the new bathrooms with the large showers are great and a good improvement.

we where in a "c" cabin and understand that all c's got the treatment. I also measured the cabin . It is 210 sqare feet incl. bathroom and closets . happy cruising , tino

did anybody ever notice that in any port some staff is also enjoying a day off. in other words they, the staff members you see in port have some well deserved time off. if the ship is unable to tender they still have time off just like your Saturday. so they are a bit understaffed that day and can not find staff for extra activities. I hope this makes sense. happy sailing . tino
