Thanks bluemarble. I am indeed redirected to the /en-gb but that does not end my problem. When I search for a cruise I only get "price from", i.e. the lowest price but I cannot find any price listing by stateroom types. I have tried to register if that would change anything. Then I am redirected to mycunard.cunard.co.uk/myaccount/ where I create my account and log in. Then I go back to the /en-gb site, which does not accept the login on the myaccount site. So I try to log in again on the /en-gb site and get the message "This email/password is incorrect". I have retried three times, always with the same result. So I guess there is no more Cunard for me if I cannot see the price listings.

Hi all!
When I lived in NE-Iceland I could connect to cunard.co.uk without any difficulties. Now I live in SW-Iceland and I am always redirected to cunard.com
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Thanks,
-
Such a simple request/procedure. Easier to just comply than to question an inconsequential procedure.

I was just wondering whether Cunard (or other lines for that matter) accepts e-tickets on e-gadgets as the airlines. I have already printed mine.
-
Do we have to buy the package on the day we embark?
-
Yes, I understand that. I am just curious whether the ship lines have "e-fied" themselves as the airlines :)
-
Do I need to print e-tickets or is it enough to show them on my iPhone/laptop?
Thanks

Can a couple register one credit card for both persons or do they have to register separate cards?
Thanks

Free gratuities are sometimes offered for the World Cruises but not for normal cruises.
I didn't know that. Thanks for the info
-
Cunard never offer free gratuities in the UK and the prices quoted as a Cunard Fare include either OBC free parking or free coach travel to port but never equals the difference between UK and US prices.
Well, I am on the 2018 QE world cruise, booked and paid via a UK TA with gratuities included. I do not regard that as free gratuities, they must be included in the price.
-
Is it possible that gratuities are included in the UK price but not the US price?

There are seatbelts in all coaches in Iceland. Everyone sghould use them by law but it is not the drivers responsibility to enforce it.

Eivor: I am on my way to somewhere:

Thank yopu everyone for good advices. We are certainly going to use at least some of them ;)

Hmm. Taking the hint, I tried to book a package for our 1st Oct 2018 cruise. Logging in to the Voyage Personaliser, I could select preferred table size and bed layout. There was an apparently clickable box inviting me to "Enrich your cruise with one of our exceptional wine packages", but clicking on it did nothing. Is there a date relative to cruise date before which you can't do such things, or is it just bad web-site programming? (Tried with two different web browsers).
Stuart
You must phone them to order a wine package.

Usually when we travel abroad we mark our luggage with the address of the hotel where we will be staying (+ our permanent address). Now we are flying out to meet our cruise ship. In the case of lost luggage, isn't it wiser to label it only with our permanent address and simply buy what we need (of course our luggage is insured)?

If you are looking for the small (4-12 bottles) packages, then they are under Little Luxuries. If you are looking for the same thing as I am, then read what Janix has said and continue to watch this thread as I will put info here from Cunard if they will answer my posts properly.

Thanks for the info John - but why isn't this info clearly stated in the brochure and on Cunard's website? Nothing about the World Cruise Collection in the VP
-
Thank you. Maybe I have been misunderstanding. Taken from the brochure:
"Prices are quoted in US Dollars and inclusive of 15%% service charge..
Your World Voyage Wine Collection will be added to your on board account and you will
receive a voucher booklet to redeem your purchases.. Bottles from your wine collection can be
enjoyed in any restaurant on board or delivered directly to your stateroom.. Please advise your
preference when booking.."
-
Taken from Cunard's help and advice:
"Wine Packages
Various wine packages and World Voyage Wine Collections are available to book before your cruise or once you arrive on board (15% gratuity is included in these prices). Wine packages can be consumed either in the restaurant or in your cabin. Please note loyalty discount will not be applied when purchasing wine packages."
Last December and into 2017, the "World Voyage Wine Collections" had an underlying link to this brochure:
https://www.cunard.com/Documents/Brochures/Wine/CC5063_wine_packages_2017.pdf
The brochure was published the 23. of last December and was supposed to be valid for 2017. In July I phoned Cunard and wanted to order wine from this collection. Nobody knew what I was talking about and finally I was told that this collection would be available after about 12 weeks, i.e. in October. So I emailed Cunard the other day, asking whether the "World Voyage Wine Collections" where available to purchase now. I clearly stated that I was NOT talking about the small (4-12 bottle) packages. Nevertheless I got an unuseable answer pointing me to the Wine Packages in help and advice, the very same I quoted above.
The underlying link is long gone. Does anybody know what happened to these "World Voyage Wine Collections"? Are they still available and what can I do to order from them (since Cunard's staff seems not to know about them)?

Hi! I am trying to book a table at the Verandah on QE on the world cruise next year via the VP (booking just became available). No matter which date I try (from January to May) all I get is
As you have crossed the International Date Line this date has been lost from the cruise calendar.
Anybody know what is going on?
-
Thanks for the answers. I find the quoted Cunard prices above reasonable, at least by Icelandic standards. The reason I asked is that I have the opportunity to go on a non-Cunard 3 hour walking tour in Sri Lanka, which will cost at least $40, which I thougt was a bit steep for a private walking tour.
-
Taken from Cunard's website:
"Half day shore excursions range from approximately US$30.00 to US$60.00 per person. Full day tours range from approximately US$50.00 to US$140.00 per person. The prices depend on the type of excursion you take and whether it includes lunch or refreshments."
Are these guidelines more or less correct or do the prices tend to rise above these figures?
-
... and what on earth is wrong with lamb shank anyway? I just hope it is from Iceland ;)

The autogratuities are indeed "rolled into the fare" at Cunard, UK. Much better than the other way around.
