What a wonderful sight on our walk this morning. There across the river Mersey from our viewpoint on the promenade at Seacombe , Queen Elizabeth.

She is moored at the Liverpool Pierhead alongside the Three Graces namely , The Liver building, The Cunard building and The Port of Liverpool building.

I hope everyone on board is enjoying my wonderful city!

We are currently booked on the Sydney to Sydney leg but want to join the ship in Melbourne for the two night leg to Sydney. Hopefully Cunard will release this soon.

Can someone access the Australian website of Cunard and see if the two day sector from Melbourne to Sydney (departs Melbourne 22nd February 2018) is available to book.

Sorry to hijack this thread but would I be able to take a small travel steamer on board.

We are joining the QM2 after a week on the road so our formal clothes will probably be quite creased! I don't think the irons in the laundry rooms will be suitable.

Do travel to Venice the day before your cruise departs. The risks of the ship sailing without you if there are problems with your flight are too high.

I would travel the day before and enjoy an evening in Venice and breakfast at leisure before joining the ship.

Oh I didn't realise they did a separate brochure just for the world voyages. However the brochure I have does include them. I suppose the one you are after contains lots more details about the world voyages.

Maybe Cunard haven't produced one for 2018 as part of a cost cutting exercise!

I am looking at a Cunard brochure right now for August 2016 through to May 2018. I ordered it through the Cunard website about six weeks ago.

Have been lurking this board for a while and what a mine of information it is but this is my first post

Have booked QM2 Sydney to Sydney (Cunard fare) and wanted a sheltered balcony Port side on deck 5 surprised that there is no availability this far out.

Compromised by reserving one on deck 4.

What are the chances and when we will be able to change our cabin to one on deck 5.
