  1. Hello,

There will be three of us dining in 150 Parc Place, I have to be gluten free, and the only thing that I eat for the main course is the roast tenderloin for two.....I know my father in law will definitely have the lamb and my other half the scallops, my question is, will they serve me the tenderloin for two?

    1) It is 150 Central Park...

    2) Order the tenderloin and vegetables

    3) They will serve you tenderloin for two, but there is a reason it is for two people, it is too much food for one normal sized person. Don't order eat the sides containing gluten if you are gluten intolerant. It's as simple as that.

    4) You may want to bring a fan, it gets really hot in 150 Central Park.

  2. I can say that with most of our cruises being 7 night eastern/western cruises, Western has almost always been smoother sailing than the eastern route. I attribute this to crossing the jet steam off of the coast of South Florida and touching the southern tip of the atlantic between the Bahamas and Virgin Islands. It could be purely coincidental that our eastern cruises are windier and rougher than our western, but it has been the case with our sailings.

  3. My wife and I really enjoy nice cocktails, especially on vacation.

I've found that most of the bars onboard use the same cheap "Island Oasis" sugary products as mixers.

We love a Cadillac Margarita (fresh squeezed lime juice, Grand Marnier, and a good tequila). Is there anywhere on the Allure that makes a quality drink like this instead of sour mix?

  4. I wish somebody would get Royal Caribbean for what other companies are being sued for.

"Grieman said MyPillow advertised a $89.97 BOGO sale, but the sale was ongoing.

“When you make a BOGO a continuous offer, it becomes a regular price of the product,” Grieman said. “So, you can’t offer that sale price for more days during a year, than you do the regular price.”"

  5. I have come to find out that if your payment is declined you will still be assigned a reservation number and you will automatically be given a 24 hour courtesy hold. Luckily in my case I used the auto fill feature in my browser forgetting I had gotten a new card but ended up finding out about the back door way to still get a courtesy hold though there is no explicit button for it anymore.

  6. I admire your resourcefulness. It's such a bother to remove that troublesome shower head every time I wish to use the hose as a water pick. As you know, oral hygiene is crucial to periodontal good health. I think you and I would get along fabulously as cruising roommates, and not having to remove that shower head every time we each needed to use it for our own purposes would be a real timesaver!

I get the feeling that you are patronizing me but I appreciate your humor, we would get along well :)

  7. I can't remember where it was but there was a recent thread around here involving something rather unpleasant with a shower hose.

If this is referring to my occasional removal of the shower head and using the hose for an enema I do not under stand the comedy and outrage. I would be willing to bet I am not the only one who has needed relief and used the most logical remedy. There is likely a reason that the shower heads are removable in such a compact restroom.

  8. What types of things do you bring for a touch of home comfort on your cruise? We don't like the towels, so we brin our own fluffy towels. We also bring our own plush toilet paper, soap, and water. I don't know how people use the ships thin toilet paper!
