  1. I was at first really nervous about trying to secure one until I came to my senses. My DW and I have a spa mini suite so if we need a bit of seclusion we have that. I also really like to chat it up with all different kinds of people throughout the ships different bars so I think if I had vibe I would always be thinking about "getting my moneys worth." and staying there.

It is nice sure and I will still try to get one but if its not meant to be then no sweat I'm still on a fantastic vacation, plus after reading some of the posts made about these passes and the thought of people running and pushing like animals to get this pass disgusts me because we all know someone will get bumped or heaven forbid injured with no apology or remorse and thanks but no thanks I am not that kind of person nor do I associate with those kinds.

  2. Hello all,

I have a quick question about Vibe passes for an upcoming cruise on the Escape. My DW and I are staying in the Haven but our friends are in different category cabins. I was wondering since they already know the routine on how to get Vibe passes, should us being in the Haven just go down to Headliners when we get early embarkation or do we HAVE to follow the group into the Haven, listen to the Concierge speech and then get it from him/her?

We have no problem skipping all that and just heading down to Headliners to wait and get our numbers, we just want the most efficient method so we can all enjoy the cruise together.

Thank you for reading and any responses.

  3. Thanks for a great to the point review. I'm sad to see that Nassau has not changed as far as the cleanliness and the constant wave of pushy sellers. (no thank you I do not want drugs or a prostitute.) I wish I was joking about this. But hey I'll always take a extra sea day with an empty ship.

I'm looking forward to the 80's night and the Brat Pack show. I hear nothing but great things about the Jost Van Dyke excursion on the Rebel Yell can't wait.

    Cheers!

  4. Thanks for the review! I've heard nothing but good things about the Jost Van Dyke on the Rebel Yell. I'm very much looking forward to this on our cruise next year. I am sad to see that Nassau still has those countless pushy sellers, what a shame because after my past experiences I have no desire to leave the ship on that particular port.

  5. Hello all, I will be sailing on the Breakaway for our Honeymoon next year and have found almost all my questions answered by this great community.

The one I have and cant find an answer to is this in regards to the UBP:

If for example my DW and I want to spend a hour or two at a bar and have a couple of drinks (considering we only order the $15 or less drinks) do we have to close our order after every drink or can we just have a "tab" and then at the end it all comes out to out to $0.00

Thank you in advance for any response.
