  1. We are going on a two day cruise on the Divina it is a two day cruise. My check in time was supposed to be 1130 and I just got a text message saying that it got pushed to 130 is that normal? Anyone have any idea what might be going on? Also, I’m very confused when I do a searchfor the cruise prior to this one it says it’s February 25 through March 3 how can that be when I’m going on it on March 1?

  2. we will be stopping at Freeport with Margaritaville, I know that senior frogs and all those are closed since they don’t consider Margaritaville big enough to open up we were planning on going on a Resort day and take advantage of the pool and beach. However, it looks like it’s gonna be cooler that day and possible rain what else can we do in Freeport that day? I don’t remember the name of it but they’re used to be a place with a large outdoor market with bars and restaurants. Is that place still opened?

You don’t choose a time, per se. you complete the steps and a time will be assigned. That time could change multiple times leading up to your arrival in port. Most people just show up when they want.

Ok, so all the times are assigned when all steps have been completed?

  4. When doing the checkin online, can you enter some info and pick a check in time. and then go in at a later date to put in your passport number and credit card? Or does everything need to be put in at the same time, in order to choose a check in time?

It can take a week or so after the end of the cruise for it to reach the account. The onboard sales people batch them up and they get processed on shore later.

Some ships are slower than others, could be over a week.

Thank you, will check in a few days

  6. I have 75 minutes of free Wi-Fi on my upcoming Norwegian, Pearl Cruise. As I understand that the Wi-Fi is very unreliable can anyone from experience tell me if there was a better time of day to connect.? As as I mentioned on another post, I need to send a couple important emails and want to make sure I can connect

First think I thought about, too.  Do they only allow access to FaceBook?  TikTok?  Instagram?

pretty much yes, snapchat, whatsapp and I believe airline websites and thats it.  There are ways for IT to block websites and aps

No, the Wifi only works for browsing the web.  /s (end sarcasm for those not familiar)

Of course you can view and send emails!!

I don’t know what’s wrong with this NCL forum but it’s ridiculous the sarcasm. The reason I’m asking is because Carnival offers a social media only Wi-Fi so you can only use social media no email no Internet. but thank you for your answer.

Then don't ask, but you are still an owner of the company (whether you vote or not) and thus you are "they". Don't like it? Bring it up at the next stockholder meeting. But, IMHO, you can't complain about the benefit when it is clearly a "per stateroom" and not a "per shareholer" benefit. Perhaps you could or should have checked into that before you purchased shares of the company. I'd think you'd want to know exactly what it is that you're buying.

Funny thing is that if both you and your friend owned the stock, the benefit would still be the same...you wouldn't both get it. Also funny is that if you owned 50 shares and your friend owned 50 shares, you wouldn't be able to combine them to get the benefit.

I know it’s per stateroom and not per shareholder what I’m saying is they should give the credit to the person in the state room who is the shareholder. If we were both shareholders and NCL saw that when we submitted the paperwork then yes, go ahead and split it per person but if it is only one person being the shareholder, that person should get the credit, that’s my opinion

The benefit is a "per stateroom" benefit, not a "per shareholder" benefit. This is plainly spelled out in the offer details. As for why "they" do it that way, I'd normally suggest asking "them" why, but when you are a stockholder you are "they".

"They" never asked for my vote to do it this way, so in this case I get to say "They".  I tell you what, go ahead and go with a friend to a cruise that gives you $250 obc for the stock holder benefit, and have them give your friend $125,  you might be ok with that but I am not.  In my case it is $100 but still I do not want to give it to my friend, and it feels awkward to ask for my $50

I would have rather had it done this way by other lines when the stock is in both our names.

If it really matters to you, have the other person give you $50. Now you have the equivalent of what you want.

Exactly if it is in both our names, but it is not, it is in my name,  So I would like the obc.  makes sense, why give the obc to someone who does not own stock?

  12. I applied for the stockholder benefit and received the $100, however they split it between the 2 guests in the cabin.  This is strange to me because other cruise lines give it to the stockholder named on the statement.  Is there anyway to get them to put it only on my account.  We both have different accounts set up for onboard expenses.  Thanks

  13. Sorry for the header, stock options, I have a question regarding the form.  Seems like you cannot type on the form.  Do you have to print it, hand write it and then scan it and email it?  Seems like so much work,  I do not have a scanner.

  14. Hello we just recently booked a four-day cruise on the Norwegian pearl. We were offered the drink package for two, 75 minutes per person Wi-Fi, and I believe $59 for one person specialty dining and $50 off one tour. My question is for the 75 minutes per person Wi-Fi is that continuous minutes or can I use it for 10 minutes and then log off and then log back on and I still have 65 minutes to use etc? also for the dining credit, can it be for any of their specialty restaurants? And would they just takeoff $59 off the total thank you.

If you’re in the ship why don’t you ask the crew?  Sure to get the real answer.

I am not on the ship, I am going to be on the ship on Friday.  I was just wondering if anyone who has specifically been on a med cruise, if this was allowed

  16. On the western med cruise, are the rules the same as in the US, as far as bringing alcohol on board?  I would like to buy some liquors in Palermo are you allowed to bring on the ship?

A video of 13222 I found on cruisedeckplans.com shows that cabin has a small balcony I and I assume so does all the others  The description calls it a Juliette balcony and says it is only about 2-foot wide.

I know right? however, I booked it on MSC as a Oceanview deluxe room. That’s why it’s so confusing.
