Deck 4 is where we stay in OV rooms.  It's underneath the casino mid-ship and theater in the front.  We were just in 4021 and it was perfect -- far enough away from the Centrum to avoid the noise, and pretty close to the forward elevators.  You could only slightly hear the theater during the day when they were rehearsing. 

They also have the dedicated GF section of Windjammer in the very back (near the outside doors) for breakfast & lunch. You can get crepes, pancakes, french toast, etc. 

We've been on Grandeur numerous times.  Our preference is Deck 4.  Deck 7 Aft on starboard side was tough right above Schooner bar with late night music because we're not night owls.  Deck 2 forward you'll get docking noise. 

2 bottles of wine per stateroom Cruising solo; can I bring 2 bottles? Does the casino offer free drinks after you spend a certain amount?

Yes, you get a VIP sticker for your card that gives you free drinks at the casino bar.

Keep clothes prone to wrinkle on a wire hangar. Put half in the plastic bags that I save from when dry cleaning comes home. Stack all wire hangars on top of each other, alternating between bag and no bag...fold in 1/2 or 1/3 depending on size and lay on top of all folded clothes in the suitcase. Somehow plastic keeps the wrinkles at bay and bonus is they are quick to unpack.
