    Stateroom only.

Haven common areas (lounge, pool, sundeck, bar, etc.) are for Haven guests only.

Over the years, the concierge has had the ability to bend the rules but the official policy is Haven guests only.

    Thank you. I appreciate it.

  2. My husband said he just read somewhere but doesn't remember where that grey goose is now an extra dollar per drink under the UBP. can someone that has just gotten off a cruise confirm this for me?

  3. this question is for anyone that has been on a cruise that has left from Barcelona. I do not speak any SpanIsh at all. Is that going to be a problem on the ship? My husband says the shows and all announcements will be in Spanish. I think he is incorrect. Can someone that has been on one of these cruises please let me know? Thank you.

  4. Has anyone paid for an upgrade because pricing went down and then bid for a category above that and gotten the new category? I bid on a balcony and mini suite and then the pricing for the balcony went down lower than I was offering for the bid. So I canceled my bid for the balcony but kept my mini suite bid. NCl canceled my bid for the mini suite twice. So I bid again and so far nothing. We sail in 31 days.

  5. There are, say, 1500 "families" wanting to check in. All it needs is 20 people at the same time at 20 different check in positions to hold up a mighty load of other people. Please do all you preparative work BEFORE you are standing there waiting for your room card!! That is including finding the right credit card and, for those who need one, the hard copy of your ESTA!!

What do you mean the "right" credit card? Do you have to use a certain one? I mean if I booked and paid for my cruise with one credit card I can use a different credit card for onboard charges right?

  6. I was just on the Epic last week in room 11071 - I would think it's the same set up. Lets see...well, the rooms in general are very tight. There is no good walking space in the room. DH and I kept bumping when we passed by each other, either going to the bath area or towards the balcony. It's a very dumb design but you'll make it work. Every other cabin is either a standard balcony room or a mini-suite and when I peeked into the mini-suite it definitely looked like the kind of space that I'm used to (on RCCL), but without the mini-suite price!! Anyways, there is ample closet space, ample medicine cabinet for two, only 3 drawers that open about 6 inches (not kidding) BUT we found 2 very large drawers under the couch on the last night!! So there will be plenty of storage space if you need it. Lots of cubbies, too. Under the bed you will fit 2 large & 2 small pcs of luggage no problem. There is an armoire of sorts above the 3 skinny drawers, but you have to bring your own hangers to use it as you cannot remove the hangers from the closet. You can also pile some small rolled clothes in there as well. I didn't mind the shower/toilet set up. Pull the curtain and you have plenty of steam-free space to towel dry (lock the door though!). The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were not. It took us quite a while to figure out the lighting system (cabin steward never showed us how they work) so be sure your key is in the slot whenever you're in the room so the lights don't go out! If you are used to bar soap bring your own as the shower only has gel, as does the sink. I knew to bring a bar because I read that here on CC! The hairdryer is good and powerful. There are 2 extra plugs, if you need more bring an extension cord. The balcony has 2 regular chairs and a small table, plenty of space but I don't think big enough for loungers...maybe....(I have read that some have asked for and received loungers for their balcony if it was determined to be spacious enough.) It was nice that the balcony was on the start of the bump because you could look to left and see the bridge. The cabin location is nice and close to the elevators, which you'll appreciate at the end of the night. I don't have any pictures to offer, though, sorry. We had a great time. We would go again, and we would choose the same cabin. Don't forget to go to the martini tasting, if that is your thing...it's the best bargain on the ship! And have fun! ;)

I know this is an old post but I have this cabin in November and was wondering how big is the balcony?
