  1. I have read through the T's and C's, It seems to me that you can not add the My Vegas OBC if you have already received a stateroom discount through yourCasino Royal booking. Anybody have any news otherwise?

  2. We are also just off Freedom, 14th-20th. Yes, on embarkation day the food situation was odd. Cafe Promenade only had desserts (no sandwiches). the line for the Windjammer was out the door....passed the elevators and out on too the pool deck. Which in turn made the line for Sorrento's extremely long also.

We had real early My time dining everyday (5:45), never an issue with service.

We have good friend (bartender) who was working this sailing. It was actually the last one of her contract, that is why we picked it. She told us that this was the last sailing of 140 crew members contracts, and in 2 months that 90% of the bar staff would be different from the last day of this sailing.

Over all we found the staff extremely pleasant and enthusiastic. We participated in the Search For Nations Scavenger Hunt. 5 days long and had to find crew members form as many countries on board as possible. Everyone encountered, greeted us with a smile, looked over or sheet, signed if the could, and gave possible leads to where we could find some of the more elusive countries. Point being, we spoke to/interacted with a "boat load" of staff.

  3. An Enhanced DL is accepted as proof of US citizenship for closed loop cruises.

What types of documents are accepted for entry into the United States via land and sea?

    • U.S. citizens can present a valid: U.S. Passport; Passport Card; Enhanced Driver’s License; Trusted Traveler Program card (NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST); U.S. Military identification card when traveling on official orders; U.S. Merchant Mariner document when traveling in conjunction with official maritime business; or Form I-872 American Indian Card, or (when available) Enhanced Tribal Card.

My youngest Son has been on 10 or so cruises, he has the EDL. We were not sure so the first Cruise we brought the EDL and raised seal Birth Certificate. Customs told us that the EDL was fine on its own, no n eed for Birth Certificate.

That being said, not everyone who sees the EDL knows what it is. Supervisors have needed to called at some Embarkations, but not a problem at customs since they are familar with it.

  4. Hey everyone...few quick questions for our upcoming Indy cruise - in 13 days! I'm not excited or anything!!!

Haven't been on Indy yet, but have been on Liberty...9 years ago,

    Favorite bar / bartender??

    Thanks so much!!!

Schooner Bar, Ralph, Flormida, Rohan and Richard. Just for laughs tell any of them you know Travis, Rebecca, and Colin. We got to know them quite well over 3 different cruises since Thanksgiving.

And I got an entire list for in the Casino also, lol.

  5. I'm sorry.

...we had the family promenade stateroom right above yours 8607...on the same cruise...I have 3 kids. I'm sure you heard them running around....again...I'm sorry!!!

    lol.

Service was not that good on this cruise. I've experienced better. Food was good and so was the bartender in the Schooner Bar. Alfonso?

Lorenzo, maybe? He is amazing. We will be on Indy Feb 6. Was on it in November, that when we met him. Schooner is in perfect location on that ship.

  6. Any bartenders you recommend?
