I believe I paid $299 for 14 days on the Breakaway in November.

The casino does seem to be the highest concentration of smoke. However if you look closely at the hull you can see the no smoking symbol that is painted over in white as the Paradise used to be Carnival's non smoking ship.

We had a good time when we went and like others said it seemed to attract more of the fun crowd that Carnival got their money's worth on the bar.

The one thing I did notice was that even though it was such a short cruise I didn't feel any shortcuts by the staff or lack of service.

The one dessert that I liked that did not have a recipe I asked the pastry chef for the recipe on my European Cruise.

This is what he gave me.

Semisweet Chocolate 10LB

Heavy Cream 3QT

Egg Yolk 1LB

Sugar 25oz

1. Beat the Egg Yolk and Sugar

2. All Melted Chocolate

3. Fold with Heavy Cream

I'm not sure if that is missing anything or not, but I thought I would share that with everyone.
