  1. I got off Radiance this morning. Can confirm a bank of 6 Dragon Links, 4 More Puffs, 1 1-line Double Top Dollar, 1 9-line Pinball, and 3 Buffalo Ascensions (I did very well on this by the way. There are also 2 Buffalo Gold Collections)

    All were multi-denom except Ascension

The party theme must depend on the ship.  Symphony has an 80's night and it was much better than the usual tired 70's parties.  Unfortunately, Harmony has a 90's night, which was not a good decade for music.

Last week on Symphony, there was a 70s night, no 80s.

  4. Lobster night was my final night in MDR - I settled for Windjammer on the final night.

Just finished my survey and definitely stated my opinion.  The whole menu thing clearly didn't ruin my cruise, but it was an asterisk on what was overall a very enjoyable week aboard Symphony.

I'd even settle for a tiered charge, I understand the need to curb abuse and know it's pricey.  Something like $5 for a second and then $16.99 beyond even sounds reasonable, I just wanted a second with how small they still were.

I did peek ahead in the app and saw the menu was sticking around at least this current cruise, so it'll be interesting to see if there's any tweaks yet

  5. Lobster was vey tasty! Was just trying to savor every bite as I knew it was my only one.

Didn’t see anyone upcharge a second, or order steak or another entree with it. Sorry!  I also wasn’t paying too much attention to others though so not claiming any credibility there!

Service was good, by no means awful.  No qualms with service at all but jeez I would have still loved that second lobster tail and yes feedback will be provided.  I know the service team is understaffed and overworked and I hope nobody took this negative change out on them.

  6. Sorry, I’m back!

I skipped MDR the last two nights hence my disappearance. Was just not hungry the other night and nothing on the menu last night jumped at me but as promised I was going to lobster night and here we go!  French Onion soup, shrimp cocktail, lobster and warm chocolate cake.

The lobster was good, but yeah I definitely would have liked a second. Oh well, enjoyed it anyway!

Hello, we will he on Symphony on 3 weeks. Would love to get your thoughts on the new menu. Any chance you can post some pics of what it actually looks like. Sorry if that is asking a lot. We are not really concerned about the lobster. Mainly interested in daily menu options in terms of variety. Thanks!

Will do, at the latest when I get home!  I take pics of everything MDR every time so I’ve got you covered!  I didn’t come night 1 so there will be a gap there.

Also worth noting and unrelated LOL,  Starlink is active for Wi-Fi

  8. Hello!

I am sailing on Divina in a couple weeks -- I read a review recently where the OP had completed the required testing negative to bring to board, and was tested again at the pier.  Is this still a thing in the last couple weeks anyone is aware of?  Just seems a little overkill if face coverings are still required through 4.23 (I'm sailing 4/17).  I know I have no control or can change it and honestly it's fine, if not an extra precaution still, just curious.

Context for curiosity:  Sailed MSC in September and November (Mera out of Miami) and this was not a process at that time.

    Thanks!

Be aware if you are a Canadian citizen and miss a port with MSC there is no refund of port fees and taxes. I was told only US citizens get a refund. This was my first MSC Cruise and it will be my last! I made that very clear with Guest Services this morning while getting of the ship.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that.
