Vista going to dry dock in January before heading to Port Canaveral

It sounds like it needs a rest and some over due maintenance

We are going on the Vista the first week in December (12/2-12/10) from Port Canaveral….

  2. After our first ocean view cruise we have always done balconies- except for two “upgrades” one free grand suite and $240 ocean suite.

We have had 2 separate cruises on the Legend, Liberty, Sunshine (Legend was out of Tampa to western, and Alaska- was supposed to go on the Legend again for the Panama Canal but it was during COVID, so when we finally did the cruise 3 years later it was with the Pride.)

Our first “meal” is always Guy’s burger and a beer🍺

We have always stayed on decks 4, 6, 7, and 8 preferably in the back.

I always choose our cabins- and they HAVE to be even- portside….

We live in Florida, so my most favorite cruise was Alaska.

We have ony cruised Carnival- but plan on cruising the Rhine river next year!

And, in theory, they should tell you all of this when you check-in.

    In theory...

So be sure to ask.  I can't find on the Carnival website where it outlines that you can go straight to you cabin.  Grrr, I guess my search-fu is broken today.

We have a suite for our next cruise, and we received the email saying our room will be ready when we embark.👍🏻

Right now (in our area) Walgreens is booking appointments 7 days out.  So if that's the case in your area, you would likely be able to book your test on 1/6 for 1/13.  You can check online now to see how far out they're booking.  I always keep an eye on it though, because just a couple months ago they were only booking 2-3 days out.

Thank you! I will check daily, I will relax once we we get the negative email on the 13th😁

Took ours today, roughly an hour for each of hours taken at different Walgreens! Sailing 1/2 on the MG 🙂 Make your appt shortly after midnight a week before, they book up fast especially with Omicron.

We sail the MG 1/15, so what day do they update the week before our cruise? Is it the 8th or 9th? We want to test 1/13 as early as possible😁

Hmmmm - Where did that graphic come from??

It does not seem to match the data on the eMed site

The Lot number on that label is 137428D. If I look at the data on the eMed letter for Extension :

    https://www.emed.com/hubfs/Case 01269955-COL-03030 BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Home Test Product Expiry Update - Customer Letter EN - US.pdf?hsLang=en

Which has the extension listed by Lot Number:

    Case%2001269955-COL-03030%20BinaxNOW%E2%

and look at that specific lot number (137428D it shows the original Expiration dates with the New Expiration dates of 12/8/21 (NOT the 12/27/21 date the graphic seems to indicate).

Sooo - Where did that graphic you showed come from??

I am just trying to figure this out for myself - I have a set of Home test kits that expire just before my test date for my cruise in January, If it is truly 12 months from manufacture - I can use them, if it is 3 months extension from the original expiration date - then  I will need to procure more current packages.

My suspicion is the original expiration date is based on when the chemicals were concocted (and defined the chemical expiration date), vs the date of manufacture is when the packages were all put together and ready to ship out the door (but I am just  guessing).

https://www.co.madison.oh.us/Abbott BinaxNOW Rapid COVID19 Antigen At Home Test Kit FLYER.pdf   This is the link I found…..

  7. I ordered mine in October for our January cruise, and they were already expired when I got them (9/21), the girl from Optum said they expire in December- which doesn’t help me. I did find this below saying they expire 12 months from the date of manufacture (mine was manufactured January 26, 2021) so I think I should be okay. I will still book tests at Walgreens and CVS, though😩

When is your cruise? I have been in the website and I don’t have the question.

Our cruise is January 15th out of Port Canaveral. The vaccine attestation was under My to do list. Once you answer the question and check the box it shows lined out.
