Hi! We're new to Holland America, considering an Eastern Caribbean cruise next January.  I'm comparing Veranda rooms and Vista Suite and don't see a lot of difference for the price (>$1K pp).  A refrigerator, "no-host bar" (whatever that is), room maybe a little bigger.  Can anyone share experiences with either? Thanks!

We cancelled two excursions on our recent cruise, correctly reflected in our onboard folio. At conclusion, the credit ($400+) showed “referred to corporate finance”. Any idea how long it will take “corporate finance” to refund the $$? 

We did this a couple of weeks ago - really enjoyed it. Our boat captain and naturalist were a married couple, really knew their stuff. Beautiful scenery, saw bald eagles, harbor seals, Dall’s porpoises, enjoyed the short walk through the rainforest when we got to the Silverking Lodge. Food was good and plenty of it. Would rate 4* of 5. Long bus ride to boat only downside. 

Thanks for the great info!  We’re doing this cruise 7 Jan, including the excursion in the canal. Can’t wait!

Really?  Lost your loyalty?  Seems pretty extreme. Was the food that bad?
