I called Princess a few weeks ago and was told you have to carry it on. They check the seal. It's possible to dump the water out and fill it with Vodka and reseal the bottle. We use a carry on and put water and soda in it.

Never mind I found it. When you board and connect to the ships Wi-Fi you can get the app. I'm gonna be a Platinum passenger and get ??? Minutes of free internet. But I can see that really adding up.
