We enjoyed our visit to this museum about 3 years ago. There was much to learn about the native Mayans in the area.
Just at the next corner is the original Pancho's Backyard, a terrific authentic Mexican restaurant with both an air conditioned area and a gorgeous outdoor covered backyard patio with live music at lunch and dinner. Super margaritas! We have been going for many years. Also there is Cinco Soles, an excellent store for local artwork, food, tequila, clothing, jewelry etc. You cannot get a better experience than these two places.
Thanks! That sounds like a lot of great information. Can't wait to check out what they have to offer!

I sent an email, and the person who responded said that they were hoping to be open sometime in February of next year. So hopefully I will get to check it out!

The website says it is still closed and I don’t see any updated reviews.I would email the general parks information address to see if they can give you any updated information- I have always had quick responses from them.
Thank you! I didn't think about doing that.

I'm interested in visiting the Cozumel Museum when my ship is in port. I've read that it closed for renovation at this time. Is there somewhere giving information on when it is scheduled to reopen?

Thank you so much for sharing this wealth of information! I feel like I was there on the cruise with you as I read along. We were on the Divina a few years ago, and are now booked on Seaside for May 2020 and super excited to check it out for the first time and Ocean Cay as well. I'm sure I will be coming back multiple times to read your posts again to keep in the cruising mood!!!

I just went on my first cruise back in April and visited the island of Sint Maarten/St Martin. Before, seeing hurricanes affect islands seemed distant to me, even though I felt sorry for those affected. Now, after seeing the beauty of the island, and meeting some of her people, it is devastating to see the damage Hurricane Irma has wrought. My thoughts are with everyone there, and I hope for a speedy recovery. Hopefully some day I will be able to return again and enjoy all that the island offers.

How often does the bus run?
Like the other person said, I don't think there's a set schedule. We just took the bus last week, and didn't wait more than 5 minutes. It can be a little confusing, but the drivers are very helpful on making sure you get to where you need to go. It's definitely an experience, but a way to go if you don't have a lot of money.

How long does the bus trip take from Philipsburg to Marigot? Thanks.
Mystic Mountain transportation Ocho Rios
in Jamaica

We would like to get transportation to Mystic Mountain in Ocho Rios from the port nearby. What is the cost for a taxi there? How easy is it to get one there and back, and is there much hassle involved? Also, would walking be a viable option?
