  1. My four year old is going on her seventh and my two year old fourth

If your child is used to travel then you’ll be great! Just take things into consideration to make your cruise easier. Grab boxes of cereal and milk when possible, things like that.

Partying wasn’t bad across ccl and rcl, never a situation where we felt we had to leave but we never lingered terribly late or in places they shouldn’t be.

    Have a great time

  2. Mine will be 2 and 4 at the time. While they are always great when we go out to eat, I'm not sure how they will do 3 times a day. They also eat painstakingly slow. Lol. I was more thinking lunch time when they are a little more tired (befote nap). I can let them eat and play in the room. We have a JS, so we had a tad bit more space.

We did this with our 4 and 1 yr olds and it was definitely easier in the room at times. Especially breakfast when our youngest wanted to eat immediately. Dinner in wj for the sport of it but room was easy

  3. Sparks1093, so sorry about your Dad's diagnosis.

I am an oncology nurse. Before you cancel, see what his treatment is. If it is surgery, he will be ok by June. If chemo and/or radiation, he may need some assistance. YOU may need that break by then. It is imperative that you take care of yourself, as well as your Dad.

Find out the treatment first, then decide.

Great point regarding her needing a break. Couldn't agree more

  4. Try taking her on Anthem. Plenty to do without swimming. I know you will miss sitting by the pool but you can enjoy swimming in port. If you don't take her to the pool she won't know it's there. We have a severely autistic grandson who is now 18 but can't always be trusted to let someone know he needs to use the bathroom so may have an accident. He also loves water but doesn't get taken to the pool deck.

    I totally agree

The anthem has lots of areas that would be pleasing to her visual and auditory senses. You could likely skip the pool deck if you needed to. May be a nice compromise

  5. The captain just confirmed we have several cases of Norovirus on board. Yuk!!! There are tons of kids on board so it’s not surprising. If you’re coming on board tomorrow washy washy!!![/

Unless the kids are serving themselves it's the adults using the bathroom and then touching the serving utensils on the buffets .

Be safe and enjoy, weather in jersey is nice for your return

  6. Anyone who does this is antisocial. Don't even go saying it's a medical necessity because it's not. My ancestors used pine cones and tree bark and when my other ancestors arrived on their genocidal quest, they commented how terrible the European hygeine practices were.

Your ancestors didn't come over on a cruise ship right ?

Did you mean antisocial personality disorder? As in a sociopath?

  7. So it sounds like non-Carnival TP is okay to bring and use, but any kind of wipes are not acceptable to flush. Thanks for the info.

There is septic friendly wipes for kids out there

You can use those. Not sure why someone asked what your kid uses in school. Maybe they have some odd interests

  8. Sometimes literally a thousand other people may do carry as well so you need to consider using stairs as well as you may be waiting forever for an elevator. When it was just my wife and I we did it with no problem

If you are even mildly fit you can do it

  9. Just as they said those fridges are not great

We have traveled with our milk addicted little ones and it helps for a few hours

We would take cartons and fill the bottles and throw some ice in the bottle as well in the fridge

That helped stretch us and we made it work for the whole cruise

If you are talking straight milk, you can also bring cartons of shelf stable milk like the horizon brand. Expensive but it works

Have a great time, cruising with the little guys is the best

  10. I was able to book onboard last month and get a $200 discount (instead of the OBC).

    Incentive enough for me.

    Same for us

Lots of obc' date=' and you can apply toward your travel agent and they may throw some more toward it for being nice

Incentive better than a reduced deposit for us

  11. I don't see why I would make the switch

You'll have the least motion where you are currently if that's a concern

Otherwise, I don't think this is an upgrade unless it's free
