Different standard of ship.....  I really dont think P&O  is any better at all really... larger ships

I thought Marella was gonna be a big come down and maybe it is a little but not much tbh.

My fav is still NCL though, just.  But cost wise and making your holiday easy Marella is better 🙂

Yeah P its pretty unimpressive

I went on the Explorer last summer and the drinks were pretty good tbh plenty of variation from bar to bar. I have done P&O and NCL and I prefer marella to P&O atleast.. NCL probably a bit better though.

I actually liked the boats being half full 🙂  but having lively ships is good too

If they don't start being more sensible it will start to cost Marella in numbers. I also agree there telephone customer service has a lot of issues, consistency being one of them.

Do they issue boarding passes again yet, last summer they didn't?

I know some of this is in jest, but personally I like to live and let live unless people are being rude or bad mannered I don't mind what they look like.

My son has informed me after speaking with NCL's business development manager that we wont be charged if we have pre paid for the ultimate beverage package.... however he also added that if I am charged he will ensure i am refunded from receipts.

So clear as mud :)

My son (my travel agent) phoned NCL today and they think it is chargeable...but weren't sure...he raised it with their main contact after that and has an update that he will give me tonight I will let you know.

When I called they also said chargeable so hopefully I will have some better news tonight as sailing Wednesday next week :)

Ah, that is disappointing. My fiancé is really looking forward to the District Brew House this December. We are similarly lucky to have a lot of great local craft beers and ciders here in Minneapolis. I'm always down to try a new alcoholic beverage, regardless of whether it is spirits, cider, beer or wine, but cocktails are my true love, so it doesn't matter as much for me.
