The last time we were there we swam with the dolphins. It would be for the one day we are in port. No snorkeling but relaxation with some water sports (paddle board, zip line, etc). All inclusive would be great.

We sailed out of New Orleans Feb 2017 and hit all of the ports with NCL. We loved all the ports and are looking at booking the same itinerary in a few years. Yes the excursions are pricey but we only booked 2 through the ship (dolphin encounter in Cozumel and paddle board in Harvest Caye). Cozumel we shopped outside of the mall area and found several neat and unique things. Roatan was an adventure as we went to little French Key. Very beautiful there and the food was good. Harvest Caye was beautiful. Food and drinks are pricey but pool and beach very relaxing and paddle boards were fun. I think next time we will do the zip line too. Costa maya was our favorite. We reserved beach chairs at tropicante (they have a Facebook page). Food and service was exceptional. Massage was awesome. Everything was reasonably priced and the shops around there were unique.

We were in the dawn in February. We did the easy walk off and we were at our car by 730. As soon as the ship was tied down we went down to the bliss lounge and a line was already forming. I would suggest early breakfast grab your things and go on down to wait.

Can anyone tell me where the smoking sections are on the Dawn? We have sailed with Carnival for many years, but the last 2 cruises have been on NCL

We just disembarked a week ago. My husband is the smoker. He would either go to one side of the pool under the sun deck or to the cigar bar. There is also the casino.

I have read that it is wise to lock your luggage when the crew comes to pick it up the last night of the cruise. What about when checking luggage for embarkation?? Locked or unlocked?
