I was on the Gem two weeks ago, and we did come back really late. We arrived in port at 10am and they only started allowing people off the ship at 10:30am. I remember looking inside to seeing how many people in the terminal there was. We were on an 11 day cruise and the weather was amazing, however on our way back to New York the waves and swells were getting worse and we had to go slower causing our arrival to be at 10 am from 8am. Our Captain also explained to us that he had to navigate through the Hudson River at minimal speeds due to the current. Overall, enjoyed the cruise but the disembarkation was horrible!

Just off the ship Sunday, you can not call from the app.There is a pay as you go internet option I think it was .95 per min

You can call others on the ship with the app though right? Also, who was your cruise director?

I just left the Getaway yesterday, and iMessage did NOT work for any of us while onboard.

Ok it would be greatly appreciated and possibly a picture of it from the hallway so we can see how it pops out, the only reason we are wondering is because we will have cabin 14244 next to it as well. Let me know how it is and take lots of pictures!

I will be going on the Norwegian Getaway in April and I was lucky to get an angled balcony, which has more room. I believe I will be in cabin 14242, does anyone have any pictures of the cabin? Also does anyone have any pictures of the cabin in the hallway, I heard it pops out. Please let me know! It will be my second time on this ship.
