  1. Yes! This room was fabulous! nice and quiet never had any noise from the elevator, and it was nice and quiet! Our room steward was like a ninja! We would leave for 30 min then come back and it was clean! The ONLY downside I saw was that it was on the opposite end from the adult pool ( where we spent most of our time) and the buffet and most food and fun stuff, but again it was no big deal and I really liked our room being where it was nice and quiet :)

PS. We saved at least most of the receipts from our drinks ( we had the drink package) to see if the drink package was really worth it, and we could have bought another package with the total lol, so for sure worth it!

  2. We got the "social" internet package. It was only $19.99 ( or something like that) and we thought it would work for communicating with our kids while we are gone. It says no video or audio. You can do photos and facebook at least though, not sure about email, but I would assume so.

  3. I found that even when I can not access the site on my computer because it just says booking errors, I can go to the website on my phone, click on view full site, then log in.... it comes up totally fine! Crazy!

  4. woohoo!! That is great... now if they would also move smoking away from it. Not exactly "zen" or relaxing breathing in that yuck, but better than splashing and screaming lol ( I have 3 kids and this will be my escape for a week haha!)

  5. Nope. (unless you happen to be in a cabin that backs on to the shaft , which you're not)

the lifts on MSC ships seem to be very quiet in operation.

Thank you! I really appreciate your help! :) My hubby created a monster when he booked my first cruise last year lol

  6. Sounds great! Thank you so much! Do you think there will be a lot of elevator noise? I was thinking it should be okay since there are rooms against them across the hall, but the only other cruise I have been on, we were all the way at the end of the hall, so I wasn't sure. :)

  7. Looking at divina balcony cabin 10072. Can anyone give any insights? I was trying to make sure it was the glass balcony and not the metal like some and doesn't look like it is over or under anything. Wanted to ask and be sure I wasn't missing anything haha :)

  8. For US citizens sailing on Divina - ports jamaca, caymen, cozumel, and nassau on a on a close end cruise to/ from Miami, passports are not required, correct? ( Yes, recommended for emergency, I know.) :o

  9. Unless they have changed yes all the specialty restaurants are extra including Eatily. Mostly when people talk about the pizza on board they are referring to the pizza offered in the Buffet, it is great and hot. This year I have made a commitment to my family and I eating the Yard of Pizza at Eatily, because of the options you have when you order it.

I have said this before and I will tell you the same thing....

The lunch buffet menu does not really change from day to day. So when you walk in, try not to eat a little bit of everything, because by day 5 you will be tired of the same food. Instead, think of each buffet meal in terms of focusing on a main course with sides. That way you're not eating the same food everyday.

    Great ship.....good crew....good food.....Am I jealous.......yep.

    Thanks for the tips! :)

  10. We sail on the Divina on Saturday:) feels good just to say that!

The food in the sports bar is now free as well!

So exciting!! Please let me know how the sports bar is! I was happy to see that they made that included as well! I am hoping they are opened late! :)

  11. Other than the MDR and buffet, is everything an extra fee? What hours are places opened?

Is the pizza extra? I saw the eatily pizza menu with prices on it, but I had heard that the pizza was available around the clock pretty much and was amazing. I just wanted to see if that was only for a specialty restaurant and there is other pizza on the buffet or what the deal is.

  12. Are there any deck areas with lounges that are not super crazy the whole time? I saw that we could pay for the solarium, but I dont want to do that if we do not have to :) My hubs and I are about to book the march 25th cruise on the Divina for an anniversary/ bday cruise!

Also I have heard they often upgrade rooms, is this true?
