I have a primary package fee of $7300!?!  On my new Encore Alaska cruise, bringing the total to over $17k for the week. Ha-Ha. The NCL rep I called said mistakes were made in transferring everyone from the Bliss to Encore. I wished her a pleasant day, she'll need it.

She just cruised up the Willamette River today!

Eliza3, We tipped our butler $100 for a 25-day cruise because he was so helpful and made our cruise experience on Regent so much better. That was our first cruise on Regent, so we were new to the ship and the cruise line.

I asked at the front desk if I could use onboard credit to tip him and was told that it would go into a "crew fund" and not to him directly.

Thanks for the info. But I'd like to know why it's safer to park in the port parking than at the DoubleTree Hilton? Neither parking area looks secure, like with a fence. Just wondering what you get for the $12 a day at the port's parking lot?

We're booked at the Doubletree San Pedro for one night before our 36-day cruise on Queen Elizabeth. I called the hotel and they offer long-term parking at the hotel for $25 per week. I know it's uncovered and that's ok. Just wondering if the car will be secure in that parking area?

Can anyone advise? Our other option is $12 a day at the port's parking.
