We have just completed the Horizon sail through the Islas Canarias (5 islands) during Carnival with a day in Agadir, Morocco. Having cruised NCL, Princess, and Celebrity I must say this is the best value available. The food both formal dinner and informal buffets, had equivalent food. In comparison to other lines, I felt the meals catered to quite a sophisticated palate. The soups and stews at lunch and dinner were superb. Service was eager and respectful. Our waiter and serviceperson both spoke English well and seemed to be quite prideful of their role in our holiday. Cabin services were unintrusive. The shows were way better than on most American Lines...good enough for this Las Vegas couple.
Basic alcoholic drinks were included; Pinacoladas and Margaritas as well, with each liquor represented with upcharge available for calls. The music in the clubs were upbeat and tended to be Latin salsa and other happy tunes. The escorted tours were great value and were reliable for a full or half day of sightseeing on these beautiful islands. We are examining other itineraries with Pullmantur for our next adventure!

Hi Ken:
It's the countdown...so ready. Hope we all enjoy the Horizon!

Hello Ken:
Thank you so much for all the details. We have cruised a number of times before but never at such a steep discount. Happy to hear it should be more than acceptable. We managed to hit a British Air sale to London and added Easy Jet to Lanzarote where we pick up the Horizon the next day. Booked a day at the Teguise Beach resort before we depart.
Carnevale will be throughout the week and I'm assuming this will be the port activity easy and most unique. Have walked hot lava at Kilauea so not looking for that type of experience...
My main concern is making it to the airport in Lanzarote for a flight that is unrealistically close to arrival. Hope I can bribe someone to let us off ASAP fpr the 12:30 to Gatwick...
BTW: We're getting married upon arrival home in Las Vegas on March 6, our 18th anniversary.
Thanks again for such a great synopsis. Anything else would be well appreciated. Be well.

Hey guys...
Sounds like you had a good time. We'll be doing the same itin as you did and we were wondering about some of the reviews we've read. Glad to hear plenty of male couples especially since we are going for Carnevale.
Any input would be gr8! Thanks
