  1. You will be able to walk to Junkanoo beach in Nassau. It is not the best beach in the Caribbean, but better than you are going to find where you live likely (no idea where that it). It will take about 20-30 minutes to walk there, but it keeps it free.

In Tortola, the beaches are free. The transportation to get you there is not. There are no beaches walkable from the port that I know of. It will be a safari taxi shuttle taking you to Cane Garden Bay likely that you will end up doing if looking for a beach (or Brewer's) and I think it will cost you about $8 each way per person.

There are two places in St. Thomas you may dock. If in Havensight, you will need to take a cab to a beach. If you dock at Crown Bay, go to Emerald Beach. It is a $3 cab ride each way per person. No entry fee as far as I can remember and a decent little beach near the airport. You could technically walk there for free, but it is up and down a big hill and through an industrial area with large fuel tanks. Better to pay the few bucks for the transportation.

I live in Missouri, so any beach is better than none.

This was incredibly helpful! Than you so much!

  2. We are going on the Norwegian Escape March 18 to the Eastern Caribbean. Are there any free beaches we can go to? We just want to relax and hang out at a beach at least once without paying a large amount of money.
