Thank you so much Martin for that quick answer. I will make sure I keep the receipts on everything. We are coming into Vancouver 3 days early but leaving the same day we disembark, so staying won't be an issue.

Hello everyone. I have been lurking and reading on these boards for almost a year, planning our trip to Vancouver and then to Alaska. We are US citizens and will be doing a round trip out of Vancouver. My question, do we have to declare and pay duty on anything we purchase in Alaska when we get back to Vancouver?

Thank you so much for your review!! We cruise to Alaska on the Island Princess in May, 2018 with the same itinerary except we leave out of Vancouver. It was helpful to read what your excursions were and what you enjoyed on the ship. This is our first cruise and we are both excited to go to Alaska. I'm already gathering clothes to go since finding long sleeved things aren't easy in Central Texas. Thanks again!!

We are booked on the Island Princess 7 day round trip from Vancouver May 9, 2018. Inland Passage and Glacier Bay. There is an earlier one same itinerary on May 2.
