I’m a pretty picky eater, but I personally love Indian food! As for the person who mentioned Philippine food, we have a large Philippine population in the SFBay Area, so I can understand wanting that too.  🤗

Thanks for the reply, FredT! My last three cruises were on Carnival with friends. It was fun, but I too,want something a little more upscale and with fewer families. Going on the Grand Princess next, which I know is pretty big, but I've heard wonderful things about the Pacific Princess and other small ships. We are in our mid 50's so we are still active but want something more intimate too. This is only going to be my husband's second cruise,but my sixth.

Or maybe he was just being a decent guy.

What's hypocritical is that they talk bad about cruisers while being one of them. They say how we are ruining the culture and environment, but continue to cruise. I haven't heard one yet, say how they will give it up! That's hypocritical.

Kind of interesting ... some of you who are cruisers - look down on some of your fellow cruisers - because you think they are "tourists" rather than "travelers" ... how are you any different if you, too, are cruising, and are in port for "just" a day trip?
