Very good question. I was wondering the same thing as I prefer not to rebook with same agency.

Ironically, Celebrity is still selling our not yet cancelled April 14 NZ to Australia cruise.

The revised form requires that your doctor certify that you have no critical illness "which would make this patient susceptible to complications arising after infection with the Novel Coronavirus". I'd challenge the doctor on how skin cancer makes you susceptible to complication.
His immune system might be compromised. It depends on when and what type of the treatment has been completed.

Good for Princess! Not sure if Celebrity would be so generous. Even before the cancellations, they were offering additional onboard credit to the passengers who would decide to still sail.

All other countries no travel via plane or ship until at least April 11th.
Where did you find this info? Could you please show the link? I only found about the travel between Europe and USA but nothing about all other countries.

I was looking at the statistics. It looks like more elderly or people with comorbidities/compromised immune system are at a higher risk getting sick with the virus. So, far we are planning to go on our 11 days Solstice in April. We are 34, 39 and 5yo. The mortality rate among 0-9 yo is 0 cases so far. Getting back to work might be the biggest nightmare in case of quarantine.
If I was at a higher risk group, I would probably cancel the cruise.

My husband’s family is insisting on us cancelling our upcoming April cruise from Australia to NZ b/c of the virus.
I personally think it is silly. If it was an Asian cruise, I would cancel no problem, but not ours.
Would any of you cancel this cruise?
We do have a cancellation insurance but we will not get all of the $$ back. It is 3 business class tickets from Canada to NZ and back. + 11 night cruise + hotels. I personally don’t see a reason to panic. Yet at least.

No form on the Enchantment of the Seas a month ago. However, check in agent asked these medical questions verbally.

All 3 in downtown area. All 3 hotels seem to have similar rates and proximity to the port of Miami. Which hotel would you recommend based on your experience?

We rented a car one-way from Port Canaveral to Sanford airport a month ago. For the family of 3 with 2 suitcases and 1 carry-on it was cheaper than paying for Uber XL.

Freedom is very much different than Enchantment.
In a good way? We love S, Caribbeans and were strongly considering it. We mostly eat at Windjammer as we have a very picky eater child who loves his Alfredo penne pasta. Enchantment didn't have a pasta station/or option to order this at MDR.

I think that a lot of it is personal preference. Our first cruise on RC was last year on Harmony of the Seas and we loved it. This year we sailed with Enchantment of the Seas - very dated ship, small, limited options at Windjammer (compared to Harmony). So, I was looking to book S, Caribbean cruise on Freedom, looked at the pictures of the ship and just couldn't do it. The itinerary was amazing but the ship reminds me of Enchantment too much. So, we booked Symphony for April 2019 and looking forward it to it. We had to compromise on itinerary but the ship is what we are going for in this case.

The room size, amenities and a bigger balcony are totally worth it. We sailed on Harmony in JS and enjoyed it. Dining at CK was nothing special. We did it 1 night and canceled the other one.

I reserved a beach bed a day before Coco Cay day at Shore Excursions. I went there in the morning and was told that I got the last bed available. I was given a choice of 3 locations (next to each other). I picked the one closer to the bar. When we got to the beach, there were 2 beds still unused entire day (next to us). We were given 4 bottles of Evian (1l each) in the cooler and lunch. Waiters were at the beds all the time asking if we would like to order anything.

We did 1 day at Disney, 4 days at Universal Studios, then took Lyft to Port Canaveral cruise port and went on 3 night cruise. On the way back, we rented a car at cruise port, visited Kennedy Space Center and drove to Orlando Sanford airport to catch our flight.

I liked Coco Cay except for the small sharks even in the shallow areas. I was aways wondering if their mommies are nearby... Otherwise, it is just beautiful.

Just off the Enchantment. Formal night was night#2.

The Pier 66 is no longer a Hyatt. I stayed there just after Thanksgiving and felt a major difference. To be truthful, part of the lack was not being able to stay in a tower room and not being able to enjoy the views That area wasn't open yet because of hurricane damage.
Wow. Good to know. I didn't even know about that. Sad news for us as we really liked this hotel.

We once stayed at Hyatt Pier 66 https://www.pier66hotelmarina.com We liked it a lot. They have special rates for cruise&snooze that includes breakfast, shuttle to the cruise port and room with cruise ships side view (depending on availability).

What ship was that on?
Harmony of the seas February 10-17 sailing.

There are a lot different hotels for different preferences and budget in South Beach. We stayed at Lowes Hotel a couple of weeks ago for 3 days before our cruise. We loved it. The hotel has been recently renovated. Looks modern and welcoming. Eating/drinking there could be pricey. I paid $24 for 1 frozen cocktail including there taxed and fees. Lunch for 2 people was $35 for 2 wraps (including mandatory service charges). However, there are plenty of places nearby where you can by whatever you wish. For breakfast we loved Rosetta's bakery. Yum Yum.

They is a horrible attitude to have to anyone. Being able to spend more money does not make you a better person.
Have the day that you deserve.
I am not the one who started this. The CK host was the one who treated us based on money spent. but who is he to judge us based on money? It goes both ways.
Celebrity Summit - February 29, 2020 and COVID-19

We had 3 patients who got diagnosed with COVID-19 in Hamiton, ON today who just came back a Caribbean cruise. They haven't announced from which cruise ship yet.
