The revised form requires that your doctor certify that you have no critical illness "which would make this patient susceptible to complications arising after infection with the Novel Coronavirus". I'd challenge the doctor on how skin cancer makes you susceptible to complication.

His immune system might be compromised. It depends on when and what type of the treatment has been completed.

  2. I was looking at the statistics. It looks like more elderly or people with comorbidities/compromised immune system are at a higher risk getting sick with the virus. So, far we are planning to go on our 11 days Solstice in April. We are 34, 39 and 5yo. The mortality rate among 0-9 yo is 0 cases so far. Getting back to work might be the biggest nightmare in case of quarantine.

If I was at a higher risk group, I would probably cancel the cruise.

  3. My husband’s family is insisting on us cancelling our upcoming April cruise from Australia to NZ b/c of the virus.

I personally think it is silly. If it was an Asian cruise, I would cancel no problem, but not ours.

Would any of you cancel this cruise?

We do have a cancellation insurance but we will not get all of the $$ back. It is 3 business class tickets from Canada to NZ and back. + 11 night cruise + hotels. I personally don’t see a reason to panic. Yet at least.

  4. I think that a lot of it is personal preference. Our first cruise on RC was last year on Harmony of the Seas and we loved it. This year we sailed with Enchantment of the Seas - very dated ship, small, limited options at Windjammer (compared to Harmony). So, I was looking to book S, Caribbean cruise on Freedom, looked at the pictures of the ship and just couldn't do it. The itinerary was amazing but the ship reminds me of Enchantment too much. So, we booked Symphony for April 2019 and looking forward it to it. We had to compromise on itinerary but the ship is what we are going for in this case.

  5. I reserved a beach bed a day before Coco Cay day at Shore Excursions. I went there in the morning and was told that I got the last bed available. I was given a choice of 3 locations (next to each other). I picked the one closer to the bar. When we got to the beach, there were 2 beds still unused entire day (next to us). We were given 4 bottles of Evian (1l each) in the cooler and lunch. Waiters were at the beds all the time asking if we would like to order anything.

  6. There are a lot different hotels for different preferences and budget in South Beach. We stayed at Lowes Hotel a couple of weeks ago for 3 days before our cruise. We loved it. The hotel has been recently renovated. Looks modern and welcoming. Eating/drinking there could be pricey. I paid $24 for 1 frozen cocktail including there taxed and fees. Lunch for 2 people was $35 for 2 wraps (including mandatory service charges). However, there are plenty of places nearby where you can by whatever you wish. For breakfast we loved Rosetta's bakery. Yum Yum.

  7. They is a horrible attitude to have to anyone. Being able to spend more money does not make you a better person.

Have the day that you deserve.

I am not the one who started this. The CK host was the one who treated us based on money spent. but who is he to judge us based on money? It goes both ways.
