Food galore

Just come off Journey at Singapore. Fabulous cruise but felt sorry for the ships entertainers and dancers who now have no work. They all were brilliant compared to what I saw from 54 down under. The magician was the worst I have ever seen and the singer who was on twice was so nervous as this was the first time on a cruise ship. I hope your opera singers are better and they also know how to host the activities!!!

Just come off the Journey and the laundry room did not open till 8am.

Thank you for your answers I thought that this was true. We are staying at the Rocks so will not rush to board the ship until later in the day. Can't understand why. We have always on all our cruises got our pass card and then disembarked and explored the port. Why should passengers who are already on the ship be allowed but not new passengers?

Please can someone tell me if you are allowed to get off the ship in Sydney after embarkation on that day. Thank you

Bonnie could you please confirm that the Journey will be docking at White Bay Sydney for embarkation on the 7th March. Thank you.

I too would like to know which terminal the Journey will be docking on before we embark March 7th. I always thought it was White Bay and have booked transport to get us there from our hotel at the Rocks.

Oh dear I hope I spoke to someone in England. It did say 7p a minute. Last night I booked the Azamara evening without any problems on my Samsung ipad.

Booked 5 tours on my I pad last weekend great until I tried to pay by debit card. It refused so in the end phoned up on the Monday. No problem lovely girl booked them wished I had done this before.

I don't know if this is the right thread but can anyone tell me how long it takes for a visa card be accepted when buying ship tours. I have just paid for some with my husband's card and as yet have had no acknowledgement as to whether the payment has gone through.

We are booked for our first cruise with Azamara in March on the Journey and have been looking at tours. The prices are in pounds. I was going to pay by debit card. Am I correct in saying that the price shown for a tour is the price that will be shown on my bank balance!.

Thank you all for your replies I like the reviews on the Conrad We have a few months to decide so will keep researching. Definitely would like a hotel near the quays. We went to look at the Marina Sands and went up in the lift to see the pool last time we were in Singapore. We had a drink there and decided we didn't like it.

Does anyone know of a good hotel in Singapore near River. Not a shopper

We too are newcomers to this cruise line going on the Journey in March. I spent a long time researching and know that the shower is tiny and entertainment is lacking compared to the larger ships that we have been on before but I loved the reviews that were shown on this forum. Please dont tell me I am going to regret booking this cruise. We have been on 2 Silverseas Cruises which were excellent and am hoping we get the same atmosphere we had on the Journey.

I know that you can't get sherry on the complimentary list but does anyone know whether you can get Harveys Bristol Cream or similar in Sydney. We would like to buy some before boarding. Thank you.

We only used USA dollars when we cruised the Panama on Princess last year and had no problems.

I know that there are loads of restaurants/cafes to eat in but can you recommend a reasonable priced one in Sydney and also apart from the usual points of interest what should we definitely not miss going to. We have only 3 days in Sydney before the cruise. Thank you.
