Why can't the Navy park it's ships at White Bay during peak season?

I'm hoping we'll hear a lot more about their idea of options to replace the buffet before we sail on the Jewel next year. I really wonder where they get their new demographic of 35-55 as their 'average' passenger. Are they trying to kick the over 60s out? We love the Waterfront for dinner, but always prefer the wide variety of the buffet for breakfast and lunch.
I find it strange that P&O want to deviate from the rest of the cruising world by removing the buffet , but it's probably their way of getting people to use the specialty restaurants resulting in more revenue for them.

Last November the Visa applications were filled in at the P & O Check in. No problems at all except the form had one question more than squares for the answers. I just drew my own square and ticked it off. Should hope that by now that would be all sorted out.
Thanks, I have just booked a cruise and wasn't sure what the process was.

Do you think they will add more cabins when it comes to refurbishment prior to entering P&O serivce
Both ships have approx 1250 berths but P&O will add about 500 more , they always have in the past

My mother was also a 10 pounder - she came out on the Orient Line's Otranto with her first husband in 1955.
I came out on the Otranto in November 1956 with my parents.
