  1. Flounder is not a local fish, so I'm not sure why you would look for it here. It will be frozen.

Try snapper. It is white and flaky like flounder, but is local and fresh.

I don't care for Conch Republic, but I do like Half Shell Raw Bar. I also recommend Blackfin Bistro. They have a back garden that is very casual and have excellent fresh local fish. Blue Heaven also has great yellowtail snapper.

Ok didn't realize flounder wasn't a local fish. thanks,

  2. yeah we are mobile. never been there though. we are ok with walking but i don't want to spend half our available time getting from place to place on foot when we could be on the trolley or in an electric cart.

i see the pros of the trolley as getting some info and history from the guide as we drive around. pro of the cart would be we could go where we want and not just where the trolley goes.

  3. My cruise is fully paid for and I have completed everything in the online check in process. There is a link to select boarding times when you go through the FAQs but it doesn't' take you anywhere where you can actually select a boarding time. I am in a suite if that matters. Do they check in earlier than the rest?

  4. We are cruising on 11/18 and I'm looking for drink ideas using only the stuff you can order ahead of time and have delivered to your room. The wife and I don't drink enough to warrant the Cheers program but it would be nice to have a drink on the balcony at night. I like whiskey but not with cola, wife likes rum and cola. Crown and 7up or Sprite would work for me but not that wife as she doesn't like whiskey. What are some drink ideas with Rum or Vodka using the mixers I can buy and have delivered to my room? Not looking to carry anything on board.

    Thanks

  5. I have a Citibank card. Just logged into my acct to look at card benefits and didn't see anything about Citi Easy Deals or gift cards. I did however notice that my card has trip insurance included. Might be able to drop my Carnival insurance that I purchased if its comparable and if Carnival's is refundable.

  6. I have a cruise booked with Carnival for Nov 2017. I bought the trip insurance through Carnival. While looking at my credit card benefits I noticed that it includes up to $3000.00 trip insurance per person which more than covers my costs. Anyone know how credit card coverage compares to the insurance I bought through Carnival?

  7. I am cruising on the Freedom on 11/18/17. I originally booked a regular balcony room as that was the type of room we had on the Triumph on our last cruise and it was fine. Slept 4 - wife and I in the bed, one son on the couch and one on the bed that pulls down from the wall. I decided to upgrade to a suite this time and changed my room to an Ocean Suite. It says it sleeps 4 on Carnival's website but when I look at pics of the room all I see is the bed and a sofa. I have looked at a lot of pics and some You Tube vidoes of the Ocean Suite and I don't see a bed that pulls down from the wall. I called Carnival and they said it has one despite me not being able to find any pics verifying it. Anyone have experience in the Ocean Suite on the Freedom and can verify? Thanks,
