Taxi? Public Transportation?

*Edit to add... I have read there is a Hop On/Off Bus and it stops at the Port Terminal.   

Wondering if this is an option to take if our hotel is on the Hop On Bus route (or close to it).

Take a taxi.  You don't want to carry your bags on a bus.  How inconvenient that would be.

I am trying to search a transfer company from the Copenhagen Port to the Airport.  We are flying out of Copenhagen to get to Rome.  I was not able to get a transfer from Viking....disappointed.  Anyone has any suggestions.  I could take a taxi but I fear I might have some problem getting one if too many ships are docked on the same day.  

Has anyone gone to Ischia from the Bay of Naples.

Once you get to Pompeii, there are guides available before entering the gates. They say they charge 100 dollars for the tour but if you allow others to join your group, the rates go down. As it turned out for us, we were charged 10 dollars per adult and less for the child. The guides are pretty flexible and they will come up to you to see if you want a guided tour.

From Naples, it's a 45 minute drive. Before you get into the cab ask the cost to be dropped off at Pompeii. He might even wait for you and pick you up in a couple of hours. Allow 3 hours for Pompeii.
