  1. I was on the Pride last month and my family did the Chef's Table. Our dinner was on Friday night, but was told that it was held on other nights as well. It was an amazing experience. We were not given an option. Upon boarding I inquired with the Steak House what my assigned day was, and our names were already printed on a list for Friday.

  2. I have been on 2 cruises with 5 people.  Both were traditional 6pm dining. One cruise had us at a booth with a chair on the end, while another was an actual table for 5. So, it is possible it may be just your group.

  3. My family (2 adults, 2 teenage boys) had a Havana suite on the Horizon.  Boy was it tight!  The Havana suite isn't as large as a standard suite - more like a general sized room.  My boys barely fit on the couch (and they are your typical teenage beanpoles) - they had to sleep length wise in order to sleep semi comfortably.  Don't get me wrong, the cruise overall, the location of our suite and the Havana area and overall experience, was one of our best ever.  The bathroom was great for us.  So, if you don't mind tight quarters, I would go for the Havana. Check out videos on YouTube to get a better idea. Good luck!

  4. We had a suite on our 5/24 horizon cruise and the room was not ready (nor did we have FTTF). No problem though as it gave us time to discover the ship. I do agree that Carnival is inconsistent with the readiness of rooms. I had a suite on the Pride last year and our room was ready early, thus early access.

  5. I am also on the 7/31 cruise. The earliest check in time is 11:30am. I am also booked on the 5/24 Horizon cruise. I originally had a check in time of 12nn - the earliest posted at that time. When I checked again a few weeks later, the 11:30am time slot was available, so I changed to the 11:30am time slot.

  6. My family was on the Pride a couple weeks ago and we were not allowed in the building until 12nn. There was quite a line of people waiting outside, including priority. However, once inside the building, we sailed through check-in and boarded immediately.
