I was on the Pride last month and my family did the Chef's Table. Our dinner was on Friday night, but was told that it was held on other nights as well. It was an amazing experience. We were not given an option. Upon boarding I inquired with the Steak House what my assigned day was, and our names were already printed on a list for Friday.

Yes - have a great time!

I turned Platinum on the last day of my most recent cruise. I received priority boarding, platinum card, and all the other benefits associated with Platinum level. It was really nice!

It has been a while since any activity on this thread. Does having a boarding zone on your boarding pass mean anything? What have some of you experienced since this started? I have an upcoming cruise in March with a boarding zone A1.

I have been on 2 cruises with 5 people. Both were traditional 6pm dining. One cruise had us at a booth with a chair on the end, while another was an actual table for 5. So, it is possible it may be just your group.

We never locked our havana cabana slider during the day while at the pool. However, we did lock it in the evenings when the pool area opened up to the rest of the ship.

Good for you - hope you have a great time!

My family (2 adults, 2 teenage boys) had a Havana suite on the Horizon. Boy was it tight! The Havana suite isn't as large as a standard suite - more like a general sized room. My boys barely fit on the couch (and they are your typical teenage beanpoles) - they had to sleep length wise in order to sleep semi comfortably. Don't get me wrong, the cruise overall, the location of our suite and the Havana area and overall experience, was one of our best ever. The bathroom was great for us. So, if you don't mind tight quarters, I would go for the Havana. Check out videos on YouTube to get a better idea. Good luck!

Davey Wavey is correct. I turn Platinum on my next cruise and my luggage tags say 'Priority' and my cruise documents have me listed as Platinum. Totally excited!

We had a suite on our 5/24 horizon cruise and the room was not ready (nor did we have FTTF). No problem though as it gave us time to discover the ship. I do agree that Carnival is inconsistent with the readiness of rooms. I had a suite on the Pride last year and our room was ready early, thus early access.

Just got off the Horizon with a stop in Grand Turk - absolutely the worst time ever (and I have been there 9 times now). Shortly after Horizon docked, the Sunshine pulled in. I have never seen Grand Turk so crowded.

On my Horizon cruise over Memorial Day weekend, trivia in the Oasis was audio only. We played both teams and individually - but the team that won had to share the "ship on a stick."

Following - I sail in a Havana cabana 7/31.

My family is heading to Bermuda on the Pride next summer, staying 2 nights. What are some definite sites to see and any recommendations for nightlife?
-
I have yet to hear about my request on the Horizon - sent a few weeks ago and sail next week....Will check when I get on board.

I am also on the 7/31 cruise. The earliest check in time is 11:30am. I am also booked on the 5/24 Horizon cruise. I originally had a check in time of 12nn - the earliest posted at that time. When I checked again a few weeks later, the 11:30am time slot was available, so I changed to the 11:30am time slot.

Future cruise desk available on the Pride - at least as of August 2017.
-
My family was on the Pride a couple weeks ago and we were not allowed in the building until 12nn. There was quite a line of people waiting outside, including priority. However, once inside the building, we sailed through check-in and boarded immediately.

Agree with beachbum53. I managed to score a cabana last year by heading straight to the excursions desk once on board and put my name on a list. Two days before we reached HMC, we were notified that a cabana was available. It really made the day at HMC much more enjoyable.
