I have cruised a lot but have never purchased the cruise insurance. Is the Carnival insurance worth it? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciate. :)

I would save your money for the casino. You get drinks at the welcome aboard party and you can take drinks to go from the casino for dinner or shows. You both get the drinks on us cards.

Hi! This is my first premier cruise offer and I am jumping on it!! My friend still wants me to purchase Cheers. Is Cheers even worth it if we have free drinks in the casino?

My cruise I am about to go on I booked at the casino rate but I was told I wouldn't receive any perks other than paying the casino rate. Not sure if it would be the same for you but you can contact http://www.carnivalplayersclub.com and ask. :)

Splendor on Sept 3rd and my upgrade cost was $125 total to move from interior to balcony.

Again, so happy I read what everyone said!! I'm sold on the aft now!!

With any travel purchase, you have 24 hours to change your mind. You could call and have the reservation switched back if you are dissatisfied.

The upsell fairy sold me on going from interior to a balcony. I was super excited but before I confirmed I asked if it was mid-ship bc I really liked my interior room's location. She said it was. Well, I'm not mad but I did learn my lesson to not take the fairy by her word. I looked at the deck map and it's located towards the very back of the ship.

No matter what i will enjoy my room and the cruise!!!! But I do regret going for the offer and upgrading.

Has anyone else ever regretted their decision to upgrade when the upsell fairy called?

The carnival cruise I'm going on will have only 1 sea day and the rest will be in ports. Does this mean the casino will only be open at night on days at port?

Hi!

I will be setting sail in 43 days! My friend and I cannot decide on any excursions. We will be in Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove. Does anyone have any memorable excursions through Carnival they did in any of these places that they would recommend? Thanks for your help!! :)

I have never used uber. However, I was considering using over to get to the port from the airport. How does that work? And at the end of my cruise will I be able to buy an uber back to the airport?

I didn't know if uber would be allowed in to drop me off or pick me up?

That's cool. I had tried it with an app called TextPlus and another one I cannot remember the name of.

I actually did try when I was on I think it was the Conquest. It didn't work. Luckily, they refunded me for the wifi. I only bought it to do the wifi calling and texting. They were very understanding. I didn't know it was unsupported or else I wouldn't have tried. :)

Nope. The casino rate is already heavily discounted and is accompanied by all those perks, so it can't be compared to an ES rate.

I just booked my first cruise with a casino rate. What type of perks comes with booking a casino rate? I was just curious. Thanks! :)

Carnival will refund all of your money minus what you paid for the deposit. That has always been my experience. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. :(

Don't wait until the day of the cruise. The only refund you'll get that day is the port fees.

Who should I contact to see if I have any comps available to me from my last cruise? I searched the forums and saw some say exechost@carnival.com and some say casino@carnival.com. Does it matter which one or is one older?
