Thank you for the confirming :)
To bad for the smaller size shower :/ I guess similar to what is in the regular balcony stateroom which will work for us.

Thank you for whomever canceled their Feb 2/19 YC interior :)
Does the YC interiors have the rain shower head like in the deluxe YC?

Sorry, I mean that the extra fee would be from your credit card company not the cruise line... It's like if you buy something in the USA with your CDN credit card, you will be charged a processing fee of 2-3% as well as their conversion fee.
Did you see anything on your CC?
No extra fee charged by the cruise line or by the CC company. Just paid the exchange rate.
My card is with CIBC if that helps too.

I booked our cruise for next year a few days ago, and no extra fee was charged.

The only issue that I've seen on our Feb 24th cruise on the Seaside was that some YC passenger's didn't know how to use their YC card properly to call the elevator resulting in the elevator sitting unusable for several moments until the elevator resets itself. Also, on a couple occasions, the YC passenger(s) didn't get in the right called elevator, again resulting in the elevator sitting unusable for several moments until the elevator resets itself.

Cayman for sure. More predictable weather and warmer water then the Bahamas

oh, they have other pkg's available too, but I don't recall the pricing of those.

We forgot to purchase our internet package before our cruise, but we did purchase it on board. Social Media pkg $39.90 1500meg of bandwidth, but only for social med ie Facebook, Snapchat and more.

FYI, for at least the Seaside, if you have the MSC wristband and you're staying on board the ship, you can leave your card in the slot in your room and use your wristband to unlock your door and make purchases etc.

We had no problem watching tv from the bed. You're right the tv's don't swivel. Well at least in our stateroom (18039) the tv flat against the wall. The tv is big enough and wasn't awkward watching from the bed.

I just got off the Seaside Feb 24-March 3rd cruise, I can verify what Danny has mentioned. To add, I was in a YC delux room, and the last 2 nights/early mornings there was a noticeable smell.

Not recommended as a beach day. There's no ocean access from the beach unless you like to climb over rocks. Lots of rocks.
The beach is pretty dirty around their patio (broken glass and debris).
I'll post pictures soon. Just got back from our Feb 24th cruise.

Just finished our Feb 24th-March 3rd Seaside cruise. There is an odor, though mostly faint through the inside public decks including outside the theatre, and shopping district. We had a YC deluxe room and the last nights or early morning hours, the smell drifted in our room. It didn't last long.
The strongest odor came from the Aqua Jungle area. It's quite potent at the lower levels where the big bucket drops and around the base of the slides.

Just got off the Seaside yesterday. Though we did use the app to reserve our seats for the shows, it wasn't needed. There was no one to scan your card to verify your reservation. We did attend the later timed shows 9pm and on.

The description on MSC website reads:
Grand Suite
1 bedroom/1 bathroom: a queen bed, a double sofa bed and a pullman bed to accommodate up to 5 guests. Which I count can sleep 5 people.
or
2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms: a queen bed in bedroom 1, two single beds in bedroom 2, and a pullman bed for up to 5 guest. Which I count can sleep 5 people too.

I'm not planning on canceling my MSC cruise. Gotta read the reviews and take note what people are really criticizing.
I'm still a fan of RCI and will continue to sail with them too. But, Carnivale... http://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/tourism-cruises/article194984359.html

Same here, I did just call MSC, and there's updates occuring on the website. I was told by Monday, my booking should be up again.
Haven Bar Service
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
We're currently on NCL Getaway and staying in the Haven.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of bar service in the Haven courtyard and sun decks? We had to track a server to get us a drink. With no outdoor bar, toweling off and putting a shirt on everytime to go get a drink inside isn't working.
