  1. We are celebrating a few Birthdays on our upcoming cruise.  I noticed with our status match we can get a birthday cake free.  I tried ordering online but there is a charge. Has anyone ordered one before?  I know they sing to everyone if it’s their birthday but would really like a cake for my grandson. thanks

  2. This is our 1st MSC cruise and got our status match.  We are gold.  Just wondering how we get the perks?  Do they leave (coupons)in your room like NCL or do you have to track them down all over the ship like carnival?

  3. I see there are a few different times for both early and late dining. I’m guessing they assign when you board?
Will we be seated alone, just the 2 of us or do they put you at a table with others?

  4. Looking forward to our first MSC cruise.  When I received the e-ticket it gave us a boarding time of 2:30.

We are frequent cruisers and like to make the most of our 1st day so we always plan for early arrival.

MSC did give us a status match for both NCL and Carnival platinum status and we are "gold".

I called to enquirer about an earlier time but can't seem to get anywhere with it and was told the port assigns the check in times.

I know that is not true and the agent actually told me they are told to tell passengers that??

Anyone know if we can change our time somehow?  Just show up early as planned or is there another dept I can try?  Really hoping we don't have to wait outside for several hours, that won't be a good start....

Regardless of the debate on NCLs responsibilities, better planning could have helped avoid trouble.

    What are you talking about????

The OP booked their flights through NCL....NCL should have gotten them to the port and not ghosted them.

You know, until you have experienced this poster's experience, you should probably just stop.  NCL is NOT good at communication.  That is a fact.  You can argue that, but many of us have experienced it first hand.  There are other cruise lines that are WAY more service oriented.  That is FACT.  You will say we should cruise elsewhere...we most likely will.  Your "Snarky" viewpoint is offensive.

^^^^^THIS^^^^ was just thinking the same!!!

Some pretty rude comments made here.

and yes, customer service by NCL is probably the worst in the industry!!!

  7. Wondering how the embarkation in Boston is?  Are they following the Arrival times we book ahead of time or is it a free for all?

My sister and I are taking Mom for our annual Mothers day get away but due to a broken ankle in March she will still need to use a wheelchair.

Just trying to plan accordingly.  Any recent travelers have any input?

  8. If SWA changed your flight, you can pick a flight that works for you at NO CHARGE!! It can be done online.  When you pull up your flight, you should see the option to make a change.  If not call them.

As for making a 11:15 flight....I wouldn't try.  We are frequent flyers and cruisers and have made this early flight once.  Not worth the stress and FLL has been extra busy the past few months.

  9. After 3 cancelled cruises, I have just booked 2 new ones.

I have several credits and discounts that were applied along with FCC and WOW they both cost a lot more than the originals that were cancelled.

Can't wait to cruise again so this isn't a complaint just more of an eye opening observation.

Vaccinated and ready to CRUISE!!!  Lets Go!
