Loved this post and all the info as I'll be taking my first X this summer and I'm diamond on RCCL. What about robes? Do we get those on X?  

I have a similar situation where I'd like to change and wondering since I booked thru a TA do I have make the call to the TA or can I go directly to RCCL? thanks in advance.

When I have sailed and the cabin doesn't get either cold or warm enough I call for maintenance to take and look and magic, they can adjust it somehow to my preference. They've mentioned there is a setting they can adjust behind the air vent panel. Has worked for me.....

Yes, it was very crowded the week of 10/10. We didn't stay as I was with my teenage daughters and they aren't the eligible age of 18 yet. It's a beautiful lounge with the window views!

Just off the Oasis and Ian Jordan was in the DL.

We too will tip $1-$2 per drink wherever we get them. Has anyone every run out of singles for a cruise and if so, how have you replenished these? The reason I ask is that it happened once and when I went to guest services on the Serenade it was as if I was asking for a free cruise or something. I think she gave me $20 bills and of course that doesn't last long so we were back again a couple days later for more and with a different person got a similar reaction of not wanting to give me change for my bigger bills.

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – NO. Just off Centrum (newly added Q stateroom) and the noise from Centrum could be heard thru the walls. Even when they closed the fire door later at night the music reverberated thru the cabin walls. We used a noise machine and ear plugs and this this not help. Not sure why they had to play the music at the levels they did. We should have known but will next time.

I too am looking at booking one of the newly added cabins on the Serenade 8087, 9077 or 1053. I didn't see much of any thing on the boards so bumping this question again. Anyone have any inputs?

Thanks for the idea. I had checked out that La Quinta and the cheapest rate there is about $95 vs. $47 for the Days Inn which i like better but wanted to get some feedback here.

Anyone every stay at the Days Inn Orlando Airport? I'm interested in a less expensive night stay pre-cruise. Normally we've stayed at a hotel style property vs. a motel but this has ok reviews it seems. Just wanted to get cc thoughts. Is it a safe location? It does have airport shuttle that we need. We are getting picked up by family the next day to head to the port so no need to have shuttle there.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I found a while back a thread where someone had posted the cabin #'s from the Freedom of the Promenade cabins taken from the Promenade but can't seem to find it now. I'm looking to pick a PR and was hoping to check this out. Any help in posted this thread would be greatly appreciated!

Departing question - sorry, it might already be posted but I haven't made it thru the entire thread. What is the latest departure time they will let you off the ship? Out flight doesn't leave out of Newark until 5:30 so we wanted to stay on the ship as long as possible. thanks!

There is no charge to join and get a FASTPASS #. Just be sure that your reservation has it when booking. I was logged in with my # and yet the reservation did not show it when I got my confirmation. I will call and make sure they add it to the reservation so that I can get passed the lines at the airport for picking up my car.

The room service menu hasn't changed so the dip is still there.

Thanks to the OP for posting this! Anyone know if they are making changes to the room service menu? We like to order occasionally but the choices are quite limited in our opinion.
