Has anyone ordered an Espresso Martini after dinner in the dining room or at the atrium bar? I cannot find them on any menu from Carnival. They are my new favorite late night drink and I am hoping I can order one or 10 :) on our upcoming cruise on the Splendor.
Any comments on after dinner Espresso Drinks would be helpful.

Exactly. I don't know if the person who won told them how they knew all the answers, but I think the other person was just inferring what happened. I also couldn't help but think, Lord just give them both ships on a stick. I get being competitive, but this went on and on like it was free cruise bingo, or the last day t-shirt sale when mediums start running low.
I just spit out my water reading this! Too Funny. So true on T-shirt sale!

We always stay at the Embassy Suites. We have walked to the port the next day . It is a few blocks away and takes about 10-minutes. You head a few blocks to the Outlet at Riverwalk then take a right an follow the Port of New Orleans walk. Just put it in your GPS and it will take you right to the ship. We found that the happy hour of free apps and drinks the night before and the free breakfast with mimosas and bloody marys plus the no cab fee to the port make this hotel an economical place to stay before our cruise out of NOLA.

I brought one back on my January 2017 cruise. I purchased it on the beach form a man on a table in GT for my niece (birthday gift she is five and that is what she asked for). It was looked at by the Carnival Staff and then allowed through the scanner. I am not sure how they can tell I bought it and did not find it on the beach, but needless to say it was allowed on.

I've done this multiple times. I have yet to have a bartender say no, or give me a dirty look. Just be polite, order your drink wait a few minutes and then order your friends drink say thank you...move on with your day or evening. Enjoy your trip!

Has anybody went to the Chef's table recently on The Glory? I was wondering what night it is held. Also, was the experience worth the cost? Finally, what time did dinner start and end? Thank you for your responses. We are debating reserving spots for my Husband's 40th Birthday.

I had this happen last year. I had to pay a $250.00 cancellation fee to cancel one passenger and add a new passenger. I did book on early saver. They did send me a $200.00 Carnival Credit for my next cruise which I had two years to use. So it ended up being a $50.00 charge.

I am going to put my two cents in here. I started cruising with my mother at 17. We have done a cruise together each year since that time. I have loved each and every week spent together just me and her. I was attending college for four years of our mother daughter cruises and we ALWAYS scheduled them during a break, usually March. I would never miss a full week of college. I also went on to get my Masters Degree and we cruised only during my breaks. It is too much to risk. They may let her submit online if you are lucky, but missing the lectures will put her behind.
Also my father had a life threatening accident, he was air flighted and in intensive care for months following the accident. I had a professor tell me if i missed the exam I failed. I got the call a couple hours before the exam that he was air flighted. This was my Freshman Year during midterms. That is how serious some professors can be about being present to take a quiz or exam. Don't do it. This is just silly in my opinion.

I would like to order this in the MDR, however, I am not sure if it is part of the cheers program or if it would be 25% off. Has anybody ordered it lately since they switched the program?

I have flown out of New Orleans on Carnival Cruises 5 times. We have always been at the airport by 8:30 the latest 9:30. Just do Self Assist if you are worried and you should be plenty early. Our last cruise out of NOLA in September we were at the airport by 8:30 and couldn't even check into our 1:00 flight yet. You will be more than fine.

I think the OP is asking about the Long Beach Airport, which is very close to the port (10-15 minutes). The John Wayne Airport is in Orange County and not all that close and requires travel on the dreaded 405 which given the worst circumstances might make a 2 or 3 hour trip out of it.
To the question, I wouldn't try the LB Airport because of all the "Murphys" that could enter the picture, ship arriving late, problems with customs, etc. Give it a shot and tell us about it later. :D
Yes we are leaving out of the Long Beach Airport, which only has a few terminals and is around 15 minutes away. I would never book a 10:15 out of LAX. There is another flight leaving at 1pm, but that would not get me to my home until after midnight... that is why we want to try and make the 10:15 flight.

We are on the Miracle in 10 days and have the 10:15 flight out. Have done this twice before. Just self debark.

Thank you! If something goes wrong....which I hope it doesn't!!! Would you let me know? Have a great trip!

We did self-debark and were on the line at 8:03 am and through customs by 8:35 am. In our case we would have made a 10:15 am connection at John Wayne. YMMV.
Thanks for letting me know. We flew out of Long Beach two years ago and were at the LB airport by 8:30, I was unsure if this was just a fluke or if we could be off the ship again by 8:30/9:00. The security at that airport is not a problem as there are only a few terminals.

I am wanting to book a flight out of the long beach airport at 10:15 am on the day we return to Long Beach. I know the taxi ride is 10 minutes to the airport. Do you think we can book this flight? Anyone fly out of long beach recently? (We will self disembark).
