Just completed the May 3rd northbound. All seems well onboard. (Doing a total B-4-B)
We've been told the Skagway dock is now completed and all future stops will be made as planned.

@STEVE-O would you mind sharing the text of the email?
I just noticed that Radiance is still moored in Vancouver, it's got to get steaming soon if it's going to make it to Seward on Friday. Seems it will take a solid 2.5 days at 25 knots.
Hoping for the best

This was out months ago, last November? I forget when the allure became able to be booked april 2026. I reread your link and cant find a date. For sure it had to be written before royal dropped cruises end of last year.
I kept reading rumors before that too. Made no sense wonder would come here if harmony not selling better.
First sailing March 17 2026. Available to book now....(through April 2026, anyway)

Seems like we have to book 18 months in advance to get a accessible balcony cabin anymore.
Yup! Book early or risk not getting one. Also risk change fees if something happens during the long gap between booking and sailing
Also can't participate in Guaranty or Royal-Up.....

I remember "Sea View Cafe" on deck starboard side, which is now Izumi on all four sisters. Really good onion rings... 😉
I believe the Seaview Cafe used to be where the Brazilian steak house is now on Radiance, anyway.

Next bit is Fish n Ships: quite nice but it's a shame the fish isn't a little thicker. The batter is nice and the chips are too. Don't forget to pick up your ñottle wooden fork from the counter
The app lists this diner with a $ sign. Is it included with only a charge for lobster or ??
TIA

It looks like anyone that booked directly with RCL is going on this cruise. Some or all people booked by another travel agency are being cancelled.
Source? This plan would totally upset Travel agents.

The people who are on the October 1 Quantum cruise that was canceled are being offered this cruise on Ovation as one of their replacement options. They can switch to a similar cabin on Ovation price-protected.
Same price....4 fewer days?
Not me!!

Royal Caribbean has just announced itinerary change to the October 2024 Hawaii. The two days in Lahaina Maui will be skipped and they replace that with 1 day in Vancouver before departing, then head to Honolulu before going to Napali, then back to Honolulu for disembarkment. Don’t know what’s the point of spending the day in Vancouver and the ship will sails at 1pm. Very disappointed with this new itinerary. We’ll probably cancel to get a refund for this trip.
On Quantum??

Or maybe mimic the Carnival itineraries with trips to Hawaii and back
Did a 15-night Hawaii round trip in 2008 from/to San Diego. Still my favorite cruise!

I'd like to see a Quantum class ship do alternating 7-day Mexican Riviera and Pacific Coastal sailings (with an overnight in SF).

Agree. I am following that thread. With the lack of much new deployment news, the thread sometimes drifts. Also sometimes the older ships get buried. The prices of the TA jumped during the very first day it was open, so I'm hoping to get in early on the subsequent itinerary. 😁
Do you recall the balcony fare when it was 1st released? TY

Jewel September 7, 2024 Boston to Boston
It was originally the Grandeur I believe. It changed to Jewel when they pulled the Jewel from overseas. So everyone who booked on the original sailing were able to transfer over to the Jewel if they wanted.
Thank you! No clue how I missed that.....old eyes, I suppose!

We are interested in the Boston to Greenland and Canada back to Boston itinerary for 2025 like the Jewel is doing for 2024. Will that be offered again in August/September 2025? Which ship? Brillance? When is it projected to be available for booking for 2025?
I'm not finding the 2024 sailing you reference but I'd certainly be a player for a RT in 2025 or 2026

So, I contacted the travel agent that we usually use, and she said the following: Due to the Jones Act, we cannot book these two sailings as a back-to-back since they do not visit a distant foreign port. Vancouver, while not part of the U.S., is not considered a distant foreign port." Now I'm totally confused. Do I call Royal and try booking through them?
Get a new travel agent! It's perfectly fine to sail from Vanc to Seward and back to Vanc. We've done it 5-6 times.

You really shouldn't be storing anything in the hallway, though scooters obviously get a pass.
No they do not. It's a fire hazard (escape route, etc). Stateroom attendants are supposed to store them elsewhere

Just received an update. We're expected to Tender into Skagway this week. It wouldn't be a big deal but my wife is a full-time wheelchair user. No tenders for us.
Had to cancel our White Pass Train trip .. .
