Hello fellow cruisers! I'm headed to the Bahamas next month (first time) and have been gleaning these boards for ideas on self-guided walking tours of Nassau and interesting stops along the way. So here's what I've come up with.
Would love feedback from those of you familiar with Nassau...I've never been there and have simply put this plan together using google maps. LOL
First stop, 11:30am tour at Pirate Republic Brewing
Lunch at Crabs & Tings (Junkanoo Beach)
Tour John Watling Distillery
Tour Graycliff Chocolate Factory
See Nassau Pirate Museum
Walk out to Queen's Staircase and Fort Fincastle
Maybe stop at Straw Market before getting back on ship (depends on time and whether we feel like shopping for cheap souvenirs, LOL)
Dinner on board

I was going to ask the exact same question! ;););)
The descriptions on cruise planner make it sound like you'll have instructors with you on the sandbar, but just a basic safety orientation on the all day. I've never snorkled so I'm concerned that I won't have enough instruction on the all-day. But the description of what you can see on the all-day sounds really cool!
