Are the shows on all the Marella ships the same?
We have been on Discovery 1 and 2 and seen the same shows. Thinking of booking "explorer" in October - will the shows be the same again?
Also, same theme, how often do marella change the shows?

Visiting
Jamica (probably no time to do anything)
Cuba and Mexico
We normally use the ship excursions, and then also like to have a walk off ship if close to the town.
Not sure what to do about currency if we fancy a coffe, snack, or to get some supplies in the supermarkets
Any thoughts?

why go on a cruise if your going to be busy on your laptop..may as well stay at home
Nope, holiday 23 hours a day, work 1 hour a day. A good balance for me! Because of the complexity of emails I receive I can't do a simple auto responder. So check a few times a day and send them on or deal with them.

1) US$ widely accepted. Far better to get it before you go.
2) No visas required for UK nationals,
3) No special requirements for jabs.
4) WiFi on board is slow and pricey.
Thanks for the reply - very helpful

Hi All
Due to go to the Bahamas on Discovery in April. I just wondered if anyone could help with some advice
1) I am getting conflicting info about currency. Don't need much, but would US dollars or local currency better? Can you get it onboard or is it better to get before goig?
2) Am i correct in thinking as UK nationals born and bred we do not need visas?
3) Am i correct in thinking we do not need any jabs? (we are not high risk and have only ever been to Europe)
4) On board wifi? Is it expensive. I will have a lot of work to do while onboard

Thanks, that is great info. Explorer here we come.
Do you know how often new shows are implemented? Every year? every two years?
