And just like that I was on the ship... Total time from drop off 40 minutes... They said rooms are ready now, so I'm heading up to unpack before lunch...

Enjoyed the review! But no selfies?? ☺

I once did a Behind the Fun Tour on the ship and they required closed toe shoes, so there's that.

I'm Platinum and have never received an upgrade offer, still patiently waiting!
-
Whew, I'm booked on the Freedom for February 2nd thru 9th! Hopefully they won't move the dry dock schedule again.

Tabyana Beach is beautiful, but, the swarms of vendors ruined the whole experience for me. Granted they (vendors) are not allowed to come up to where the chairs are, but you have to wade through them to get to the water, and they're all yelling to get your attention while trying to sell their wares. Not a very peaceful environment in my opinion.

I would seriously follow that too LOL!
Me too!!

So, I have never cruised alone but often 'threaten' to. You made it seem OK. Thank you for the best review I have ever had the pleasure of reading in Cruise Critic. I anxiously looked forward to each installment and am sad that it's over. Here's hoping you add another review of your next adventure!

Make sure you pick a ship that the Aft pool is adults only. Definitely helps to minimize the kids impact. Also I generally cruise early February which ensures that most of the kids are in school at that time. And before anything is said about me not liking kids, I have 10 grandkids so that argument is invalid! I just happen to enjoy some adult time while cruising.

I was on the Freedom in February. Aft pool is adult only and enforced. One of the reasons I love this ship!!

Or, maybe the "Carnival" Hub app :)
-
Thanks, I actually did find it on the Carnibal Hub app!

Where can I find one??

Looking for suggestions of AI's in this area. Basically looking for some relaxing beach time. I looked on the Ports of Call board and saw a lot of questions but not many answers to the questions, so I'm reaching out here.
Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions

I just turned Platinum too, and I have to admit that I felt pretty special (and was treated that way too) during my February 3rd-10th cruise on the Freedom!
-
Just off the Freedom, didn't use the steak house, not sure about the doors accomodating magnets, but the walls inside the cabins are definitely magnet friendly! I bought a packet of strong/sturdy magnets at my local Harbor Freight store and they came in very handy!!

I just came off the Freedom this past Saturday. My 4th time on her and I love her! Great crew and agree that Malcom is great!!

OK, I just realized that I'm a Platinum member now, so that answers my question!!
-
I haven't logged in but will do that!
And I only wish I had a suite! Actually got a pretty small inside cabin this time.

When I printed my luggage tags for my upcoming February 3rd cruise, I noticed that I was given the Priority designation, and I have no idea what this means for me. Anyone have a clue? Unless maybe I became Platinum and am not aware, which could be likely. I tried calling my PVP but he hasn't returned my call as of yet.
Thank you for you help

Can you tell me if the aft pool is adult only? I know there's been some changes back and forth but I'm curious as to the status now since I'll be on the Freedom in 12 short days!!
-
I was on the Freedom February 2017, aft pool was adult only. Will be on the Freedom again February 2018, hoping it's still, or has gone back to being adult only/ Anyone know?

I will be on the Freedom for Super Bowl Sunday. Sure hope they show it on the big screen, under the stars, complete with beer and popcorn!!

I'm looking for suggestions as to the most efficient, cost effective method of getting from the airport to the cruise terminal.
Rental car, limo, shuttle????
Thanks in advance!
