  1. i am having to change cruise dates and ships from the magic in nov 18 to the breeze in may 19. My booking is an early saver and I understand it’s a 50pp change fee and the remainder of the deposit is held for 2years as future cruise credit. My question is I am switching dates can I apply the future credit to the new date? In other words I lose just 50 of the total I have given carnival

  2. Also having login issues.

My wife likes seeing the Red "this many days until sailing" tag.

She asked me to login so she could see it and it won't log in.

Tried both Chrome and then Edge, so not a browser issue.

download the hub app it's a great big countdown clock until you board(y)

  3. Keep in mind that you do not have to have the original birth certificate. A copy of the birth certificate is perfectly acceptable. The thing they stress is it has to be a birth certificate. Apparently some people think the little souvenir paper you get from the hospital is a birth certificate when it isn't.

I want to thank you. my wife and i are going on a cruise and i am getting passports. after reading this i checked and im glad i did my wife only had a registration of birth. again THANK YOU!

  4. Here's an important tip that is rarely (if ever) suggested. If you wear prescription glasses, and are going on a physically active excursion, such as kayaking, river tubing, rock climbing or zip-lining, take some sort of eyeglass retainers with you. "Chums" is a well-known brand (Google it). You can usually find them at most sporting goods stores, or on line. You wouldn't want to ruin your vacation by losing your glasses. (Been there. Done that.)

Croakies are another band for glasses they are a must

  5. Honestly, I doubt you will ever come across a line on any ship, for any venue, that will be 40 mins long. Yes, there will be lines at times because after all, you are not the only person on board. But 40 mins? Never. Even if there is a bit of a wait, who cares? You are on vacation. It’s the one time you get to slow down and not have to rush to be somewhere.

And as far as how good the burgers are, I think they are ok. My problem isn’t with the burger itself but with the bread. There’s hardly anything to it and when a greasy burger gets stuck in the middle, the bread becomes so soggy that it’s hard to eat the burger. I really wish they would get better buns. The fries, however, are absolutely delicious. Some of the best I have ever had.

    Ever been to Disney?:o

  6. My opinion only.

Have done 11 Carnival cruises and 3 Royal Caribbean.

For the most part, I consider these cruiselines to be more alike than different.

I will say that Carnival just has a more FUN environment.

The sail away party for example is more lively and energetic than any other cruiseline I've been on.

To your question about the Blue Iguana. This is a dining venue on the lido deck for breakfast and lunch. Burritto's mostly.

Vista or Magic would be my recommendations. The older ships interiors were designed by Vargas (sp?) and are a little loud and flamboyant

have to agree on the magic great ship!. When you mentioned Vargas I remembered an interview I saw with him. The last ship he was involved in was magic. Could explain why breeze and vista seemed plain to me.

  7. I feel the Vista has an almost unfinished look to the interior it's very plain and that carries through most of the ship. Most of the Interior public areas are small and bottleneck easily. I agree with other posters here at the atrium just does not have the wow factor of the other Carnival ships. I personally feel the dream class was a very good design and I wish they had built more
