The Royal Panorama Suites, there are two, are stunning and spacious. You won’t be disappointed. Being in the aft, some passengers do complain of noise and vibration. Enjoy!

What does a “Carnival Gay” look like?

Sorry...was being sarcastic about the OP’s thread title. The sewage problem has been solved.
-
I think the restaurants should really charge for that “side of sewage.” It’s particularly tasty with lobster tail or the ubiquitous filet.

No idea what you mean by your statement and neither should you since you have never cruised on a Carnival ship according to your signature. You sound just like the Loyal Royals who bash Carnival without ever sailing on them.
What’s a Carnival?

Scenic uses the Budapest Marriott. We added several days after our cruise and upgraded to a Corner Suite. Gorgeous view of the river from this hotel.

The Chain Bridge is under repair for the next two years. I believe only pedestrian traffic will be allowed and some cruise docks close by, such as Viking’s will be moved down river.

I'm glad you enjoyed the review!
I have also sailed on Oceania's RIVIERA and quite enjoyed it. I'll let you know up front the experience on MSC will be quite different even in the Yacht Club. In general Oceania is much more sedate than MSC. Service is more polished I would say and overall the ship has a much more elegant feel. It's an ultra-premium experience where MSC is mass-market. Mind you there are many aspects of the Yacht Club that are ultra-premium but just keep in mind that the rest of the ship is mass-market, which means a much more busy, crowded, loud, and activity filled experience. I'll also mention that cuisine on RIVIERA was probably the best I've experience at sea, and in no way does MSC's compare even in the Yacht Club. That is just my personal opinion. So my best advice is go with an open mind and enjoy the experience for what it is, and try not to compare everything to past cruises.
I do believe you can take advantage of any new promotions or rate reductions prior to final payment time. At least that is the way it works in the US. Deposits here are generally refundable, so worse case scenario you can always cancel and rebook with no penalty. I know it's different in other countries and I'm not sure where you're from. I know in the UK deposits are generally not refundable so different circumstances and rules there.
Hope this helps!
But isn’t Oceana Riviera a LOT more expensive than Yacht Club?

Someone should invent a lobster dessert.

Check out Fredrick Claussen’s videos on YouTube. One on the Muse and with another gay couple on the Cloud Expedition. Lots of food porn and eye candy.

Concerning Seaside...I'm a bit of a freak about planning...can anyone offer suggestions on which deck is better for YC? Currently booked on 16, starboard. There's a cabin left on 18, port.
16 starboard is close to Top Sail. We are booked in 16012.

What even a Firefighting axe ... :D
I hear that Cunard allows “Battleaxes” on board.

MSC doesn’t allow axes on board.

I’ve heard rumors that Arthur will be making a change when his contract is up in September.

Remember too, the Seaside won’t leave POM until 7pm...with time changes, perhaps you can still make it?

I’m so sorry this happened to you. Next time you cruise think about arriving a few days early. This might alleviate a similar problem in the future.

Yacht Club members, in general, are too “civilized” to smoke.

Some YC guests on deck 18 have complained of noise from 7-8am. It seems this is the time they set up on the One Pool deck.

The YIN cabin is as nice as the YANG cabin.

And a few extra DOLLARS doesn’t hurt either.

We were recently on the Viking Jupiter and noticed a rather bearish couple. They seemed pleasant enough so at dinner I went over to say hello. I asked if they were “Friends of Dorothy” and they looked at me like I was crazy. Sadly, I never spoke to them again, although I got a wave here and there. It seems 40 somethings know little about gay history.
