Why can't you use the SDP at the other specialty restaurants that accept it on Escape? There are plenty of other restaurants that the SDP will completely cover. You can even use it at Bayamo (with upcharge) and Pincho Tapas (with upcharge).
Thanks! I'm going to call NCL again today as it did seem odd that you could only pick two. I actually needed to call Costco today anyway because they haven't updated my itinerary change in their system due to the hurricane and I want to check their prices on excursions.
Anyone ever use Costco to book an excursion????

So I guess we get three meals at Cagney's and/or Le Bistro, so we will have to go to one twice? I wonder why they wouldn't let us pick a third restaurant? Which restaurant would you pick to visit twice? I don't know if this makes a difference, but we booked through Costco.

Grand Cayman is an awesome port! I'm glad to see NCL going there. We loved it on Carnival. Swimming with the stingrays is very cool plus the rum shops.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but you are speaking about George Town, Grand Cayman, correct? I'm having a hard time finding posts about it.

Well...Now I want to know. How much is it? Why have a forum if no one wants to share knowledge? NCL's website isn't very helpful for questions like this either.

So here's the thing, you can't blame people for being disappointed with the change...you book a cruise based on the ship and the itinerary, so it's not surprising that when the ports of call changed, people get mad. It is what it is, but that's not going to stop people from coming to boards like this to complain.
I'm personally not mad, but I am disappointed. We do not go on vacation a lot and our funds are very limited. It just so happened that we were on the Getaway in March with the kids (we got talked into taking a cruise with friends), and we loved the cruise so much, we booked another one for our 20th wedding anniversary here in November (just the hubby and I). We really wanted to visit Atlantis! Maybe someday we can take a trip there, but we have already paid for this cruise and goddammit, we are going! (LOL) Again, although I loved Harvest Caye and Costa Maya, I'm glad we are seeing different parts of the Caribbean (Really, Great Stirrup Cay doesn't have a pool???? MAN!). Another thing that stinks is now I have to re-plan everything with only 43 days left, so look for me to ask a lot of questions in other threads!

I just called and verified that this is indeed the itinerary for the 11/4 sailing. I'm just glad it's not the same itinerary as my Western Caribbean cruise in March (Getaway) - not that it's bad, I just wanted to see something different.
SUPER JEALOUS of all you going to Costa Maya and can visit Maya Chan!

what was the original itinerary? Just curious..... looks like a good trip to me!
St Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau

Me too.
I am so confused. I thought you posted a couple days ago that it would be their standard western caribbean itinerary (Roatan, Belize, Mexico)? I was already trying to get a reservation at Maya Chan! (we sail 11/4) I'm probably just going to wait until tomorrow and call NCL - maybe i'll get an email today too.

Hi There! I am booked on an 11/4 cruise and I'm actually terribly disappointed as we just sailed this itinerary during March 2017 (and we aren't big cruise people, we just so happened to take two cruises in one year). It's not that the stops are bad (although I'm not getting off the ship in Honduras, I had a panic attack last time because of the bum rush of locals), I just was really hoping for Nassau...anywho...here's my question: what about Mexico? I don't know much about Mexican geography, but did the earthquake ruin anything in Cozumel or Costa Maya?

I have this state room booked for 11/4/17. Thanks for the info!
Escape eastern Caribbean November ? Any changes yet

We are on the 11/4 sailing and I believe we are the first to do the Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Nassau sailing. I think I read on another post that someone, who will be on the ship for Halloween, will be going to Roatan, Belize, Cozumel, and Costa Maya (we did this route on the Getaway in Feb). I find it interesting that they are changing up the route like that.
