  1. Mini suites on the Ruby Princess are approx. 323 SF, almost double a regular cabin..there also 2 TV's in there..also you are pretty close to the elevators..good choice..keep in mind there are not many 20 something people on Princess...your son may be bored with the older passengers, but if he is just looking to relax & have a good time, he should like it..have a great cruise!

My son is an old soul [emoji4] This will be our second cruise on Princess (we just did a 10 day Alaskan cruise back in August) and we told him how the atmosphere is. I think he’ll enjoy the lounge shows and the relaxing!! Plus he’s a big ‘foodie’ and really wants to do the Chefs Table. Can’t wait!!

  2. Thank you everyone this is all very helpful. We sail on the Regal in a balcony cabin in 13 days. Last vacation my husband forgot his CPAP and I didn't sleep :(. How long of an extension cord would we need to bring?

If I could get away with not bringing it, I would but my husband said he would like to sleep!! [emoji23]

  3. I use a Cpap machine and as a truck driver I have to use it even on vacation to be compliant to be able to go back to work when vacations is over..... With that being said..... I've read that plugs in the cabins are only on the desk. So can I bring an extension cord and a small power strip? We are going on the Princess Grand and staying in a balcony cabin on the Baja deck. Also can the plugs accommodate curling irons, flat irons??

Thanks for any input!! Our last cruise was back in '07

  4. Hi all,

My in-laws are taking us on our first Alaskan cruise 8/26/17 on Princess Grand, they even got us a balcony on the Baja deck!! We are super excited. We want to send them 'thank you' flowers. I don't see an option to send flowers to another cabin other than your own. Has anyone done this before?

    Thanks in advance!!

  5. We are going on an Alaskan cruise August 26th on Princess Grand and my in-laws got us a balcony on deck 8 and I'm so excited about. This is our first Alaskan cruise and what better way to do it I think is on a balcony. This thread was very informative. Thanks Al
