  1. The wife and I were on the CB this summer on a B2B. We have traveled with Princess on 25+ cruises, on every ship from the early Sun class to the present big ship Royal class. Seen a lot of food venues come and go. While we did not eat at the buffet but a time or two, I walked through the WFM numerous times. Based on my observations the cruiseline has made cutbacks in quantity and quality in food. The offerings in the breakfast and lunch buffets were extremely skinny, made it hard to believe I was on a Princess cruise. The food on this ship would have been a serious disappointment if we had not been in a suite and thoroughly enjoyed the Sabatinis breakfast and club class dinning. Princess is still where I belong, but I don't believe WFM is the way forward.

  2. The Wife and I sailed through the Panama Canal on her several years ago. Became at the time our best cruise and favorite cruise ship-loved the layout of the ship and crew was wonderful. However, she is scheduled to receive major dry dock changes early next year, similar to the cutup of her sister ship the Island. We are tentatively planning another trip through the canal next April, but if Princess repeats the Island thing I may rethink the cruise. We shall wait and see.

  3. In my experience Princess does maintenance work on the site around 11 eastern time, but usually back up in about an hour or so.

Yup, still broken...must be more than just a glitch. It's been more than 4 hours...

    This is what I get...

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

It appears that something has gone wrong and we were not able to continue to the next step.

•Please wait a few minutes and then attempt to proceed with your booking. Alternatively you may call us at the number listed at the top of this web page. We’d be happy to answer your questions and complete your cruise booking by phone.

  4. I agree about the dedicated pizzerias on the Sun class ships. We sailed on the Sun Princess a number of years ago and the pizzas were outstanding, even better than the very good pizzas on the new Royal Princess.

My wife and I split a pizza at Alfredo's. We figure just because we can eat a lot doesn't mean we need to eat a lot. :)

I might like Prego better if they put some sauce on their pizza. It always tastes like they totally leave the sauce off. Maybe I've just been unlucky but we ate Prego pizza on two cruises and it was bleh every time.

I think the best pizza I've had on a Princess ship may have been at Cafe Corniche going to Alaska on Sea Princess in 2011.
