I just purchase the plan for $5 on carnival and I think it was $7 on NCL. Did not buy a wifi plan.

We were on a cruise this summer and there were 32 of us! We used the Carnival messaging plan- it cost $5 for the entire cruise. It helped keep everyone up to date on meeting for shows etc. I'm sure most cruise lines have something like that.

The one thing we always do is use the safe. It's hard to think that someone that serves you daily in your stateroom could steal from you, but you never know. Documents, passports, cash, jewelry and our wallets sometimes if we don't want to carry them always go in the safe! Better safe then sorry. Sorry you had to go through that.

We had a group of 32 last July. It was supposed to be a shared party but we were the only ones there. They kept the drinks coming (strong to!) the whole time! The service was awesome and we all enjoyed it!

My checking in time is 12:30-1:00 and that seems fine to me. But I would like to know why anyone would want to check in early. If your room will not be ready until 1 or later. Why get on early.
We get on early and go right to the pool . We lay out and get some lunch. If you have Faster to the fun your room is ready so you can drop your stuff off first. We like to get the party started early!

I just used my aarp cards on my recent trip. I waited until almost the end of our trip and had our cards applied to our account.

Once it's applied to your bill it subtracts the from the balance so whatever is on your bill it's used for. We ended up only $162 after our cruise so all of our gratuities were paid by the gift cards.

I just used mine last week on the Pride. I brought them to the service desk and the applied them to our bill. Very quick and easy. I will always do this from now on.
