My Cruise on Carnival Conquest went from a 7 night to 4 night. We are scheduled to leave on sept 12th . I will in New Brunswick, Canada and have to fly in on Monday ....

 

Do you think Flights will be able to land around noon on Monday ?

 

I don't like that we aren't even told what day we will be in Cozumel or what times.....That forces us to purchase Carnival excursion just like the future certificates and prorated taxes, port fee being placed on our sail and sign account......Carnival basically making us give our money back to them .....

If no flights, will Carnival refund you for the cruise?

The Miami building looks mostly made of glass, can't see it holding up too well. Unless they have a massive shutter set up.

This storm is huge. I can't see cruises leaving on 12th Also do they expect employees to sit in Miami. They have there own issues to deal with & are probably going way north.

What's the point of lets do a 3 day cruise. They should just cancel the whole thing & avoid people flying in etc.

Not everybody lives close enough to drive. Some even come from Europe, west coast, Canada etc

Just fill a large bottle at the water stations. Ships water is fine & free.

I don't think it's going on Vista, it's only open for lunch on the Breeze. They have the sea food shack instead. Pity.

If it was that bad why would they keep coming back & leaving kids etc. see plenty of them being able to afford to smoke. That means spendable income.

Princess has tablecloths in the dining rooms. Princess has more Norovirus outbreaks than Carnival. Some other cruise line, too. I'm good with no tablecloths.

Maybe you should read before spouting off. That virus needs to be washed in bleached based products. Maybe a tablecloth may help ? No. Ok. Thanks.

Table cloths are hygienic they get washed. The wood table gets a wipe from the same dirty water for the other 300 tables.

Too much sodium, if you move enough take stairs work out hydrate it will not happen. Take a sauna, sweat it out.

I seriously don't get all the fuss about this kind of thing, we went to one. It's not a big deal. We never go, is it the free drink & snack people are so fanatic about. There's a reason i don't care about reviews for a reason, this kind of thing sends people into a frenzy & the whole cruise was just so upsetting I'll never book Carnival again!! Sob sob. :eek:

In 2005 we sailed off shore through Katrina 100 miles out, was rough but an adventure. People like to fuss now days.

Think yourself lucky you can just drive, we & plenty more have airfare & still don't complain. As said Miami & FLL are a lot easier to get too & less boring. Last time I tried that port the shuttle driver tried to rip us off with his extravagant tip, till i told him where to stick it. Since NASA basically shut down the area is not that good.
