  1. My Princess casino winners certificate was for 2 people for 10 days with a Oceanview, We upgraded to balcony room, for an additional $500 each then paid $250 each in port fees and taxes. 2 people for a 10 day cruise for $1250 total is a steal!

  2. I will agree that formal night isn't as formal as it use to be. Just my opinion, but my last cruise to Alaska, seemed to be the most relaxed I've ever seen people dress. We had two formal nights and saw only a handful of people really dressed up. I think people use any extra room in their suitcase for jackets, etc and maybe not so much dressy clothing.

    So true.....

  3. On all the ships we have been on, there has always been a balloon drop in the Atrium. Usually it's been sometime in the evening and only once during the cruise. The time is posted in the Patter and you can also see all the balloons in a net stretched across the Atrium.

On our cruises, the balloons batted back and forth were always done in the Princess theater while waiting for the Crew Talent Show to begin. The Cruise Director's staff goes around the Theater handing/throwing out balloons for you to blow up and start batting around. Not every cruise has had this talent show.

Same as my experience as well....
