Is it possible to take three days to drive to Key West and back prior to a cruise from Miami? Any reasonable priced over night places to stay? Is it worth driving all the way or will we get the idea only going part way?

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Key West, try the Blue Marlin Motel. We are staying in the Keys for a few days after our cruise in August and it was the most reasonable hotel we found. I think for 2 nights it was a total of $300 w/fees for a 2 queen bed room. It has good reviews on Tripadvisor as well.

There is NO assigned seating. It is first come, first seated. If there are no personal belongings on the seats, IMHO, you and yours are free to sit. AND just a note, a lady who sat behind me on a tour bus stated "don't you dare put your seat back". She smiled and huffed and sat down. As I reclined to my seat's fullest extent.
This made my giggle. I'd probably do the same (but for me it would be called) "Wisconsin passive aggressive" thing in that situation. People can be so rude for no reason! :D

Your friend can purchase a separate inexpensive internet plan for use while not sharing yours:

Great, thank you! I was reading over Carnivals site and didn't see that as an answer. Thanks again!

Hello! I am going on a cruise (Carnival Sensation) with a friend of mine and I fully intended on buying a WiFi package. I am wondering, if only one of us can be on the WiFi at once, are we able to purchase our WiFi access separately? I know she will not fair well not having access to her social media 24/7, and I am more of a light user but would like to be able to check in with my kids without having to ask her to disconnect. Thanks in advance!!

Thank you for the review and the pictures! We are going on our first cruise on the Conquest next summer. We have upgraded to a balcony room and I can't wait! I know how I am going to decorate our door too.

You are getting Fritz some business :) I'm sure he'll appreciate it!

For some reason, the "Real Housewives" always seem to plan trips. For some lucky stroke, they are always met by a member of the hotel's E-Team, given a welcome speech, get a special performance by the local talent. Then, they start to behave like barbarians. And, surprisingly, we never see Security telling the ladies to mellow out or stop their screaming, or kick them out when they start fighting in the hallways. Had The Bachelor film at one of my hotels once. What a crock. NOTHING was spontaneous, it was all scheduled out.
Then, you've got them talking on the "after shows" that someone isn't happy that their "storyline" isn't as big as they wanted... The shows aren't scripted word-for-word, but they are scripted from the standpoint of the situations are set up.
I have always thought the vacations on Real Housewives are very convenient! I am sure Bravo pays for the trips as they all go somewhere new every season, and sometimes multiple trips per season!

I do! I love the Caribbean show, but I don't watch the Med seasons. Bravo is my guilty pleasure. Kate is my favorite and the art she puts on the beds :)

I have booked a cruise for February 2019 through Carnival (planning early is the name of my game! :D). On average, how early do they list the excursions that are available for the particular cruise we are on? I checked today and none were listed. Thanks!

My friend and I are cruising on the Carnival Sensation, main deck room M6. Is this a good room?

Yes, there is a cell phone lot. Well signed. Or you could do a Google Search for Port Everglades Map, which gets you this:
which shows the cell phone lot by Terminal 18.
Thank you!! She gets nervous when she's not sure what to do or where to go.

We are going on a cruise next summer and my mom is meeting us after our cruise to spend a few days in the Florida Keys before we have to go home. Our cruise comes back on a Thursday. I read on weekends there is a call lot for free pick up. Is there a similar option during the week for pick up since she will be picking us up from the port? If we have to pay for parking for an hour we will, but we'd rather not.
Thanks!
